    We are Ian and Melanie .
    We are European kiwis .

    We are just around the corner from the iconic Mussel inn and there is kayaking and mountain biking on our doorstep .
    We have lived on the land here for 7 years and are building permaculture gardens . Fruit , veg and chickens .

    We are a small permaculture homestead in rural South Island .
    We keep a busy garden , polytunnel and berry house .. and chooks .
    We enjoy building projects and are currently building a sleep out .

    We have a wood fire sauna , we love river swims , two dogs keep us busy , and we like eating on the back porch on sunny evenings …
    We have access to kayaks and treks , fishing and a boat ..

    They are cosy and clean . Electricity and blankets provided .

    We have shared breakfast and lunch and provide food for you to cook for yourself in the evenings .
