Description
Hola!
We would love to invite you to join our off-grid project. If you're passionate about outdoor activities and creative endeavors, come be a part of our daily life on a beautiful mountain in the Girona province of Catalonia, Spain.
Our property features a lovely garden with a small greenhouse, a family of dogs, cats, 11 horses, and some chickens with a rooster. It spans 100 hectares of forest, rivers, springs, and grassy land—an incredibly peaceful space just 15 minutes from civilization. We are completely off-grid, surrounded by small mountains and forests, with a natural water source and little pools along the river.
Please note that we do not have many luxuries or fancy facilities—this is a simple, back-to-basics lifestyle, focused on nature and creativity.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
For the past five years, I’ve been on a journey from a nomadic lifestyle to settling down in a place I’ve truly fallen in love with. It’s inspired me to create a unique living space that’s self-sufficient, ecological, and nurturing.
We’re launching a lifestyle project to build a space that will serve as a hub for other small initiatives. To bring this vision to life sooner, we’re seeking help to get things off the ground.
Our focus is on sharing knowledge and learning together, with an emphasis on flexibility, respect, and collaboration. We offer language exchange as one of the ways to connect—we speak advanced Spanish, Catalan, and English, and have intermediate skills in French, Italian, and Portuguese.
By joining us, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of hands-on experiences, with a strong focus on learning and cultural exchange. You’ll participate in activities such as bioconstruction exchange ideas, gardening, animal care, landscaping, forestry, and basic mechanics. The tasks will vary throughout the year depending on the season and the needs of our space, offering a dynamic and educational environment for personal and collective growth.Help
Our daily activities involve maintaining our organic garden, helping with non-technical home improvement projects, and caring for our animals. While we value the importance of maintaining and improving our living space, we emphasize the learning experience and collaboration over technical construction tasks. If you're interested in hands-on experience with sustainable building techniques, we will be working together to explore creative and practical approaches.
After a productive day, we enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. You can relax with a swim in the river, take a peaceful walk through the forest, or simply enjoy the serenity of the area. This is a place for personal development, building connections, and experiencing life in harmony with nature.
We also love meeting new people. Although this is our first time on this website, we've already welcomed visitors from all over the world.Languages

Workawayers will have the option to stay in a room in the main house, set up their own tent, or park their camper van, depending on availability and the number of guests. We provide both food and accommodation, with the cooking duties shared between the hosts and visitors.
What else ...
It’s ideal for volunteers to have their own transport, as we’re located a bit off the beaten path. However, there’s also a bus stop nearby that connects to towns and cities across the country. If you don’t have your own transport, don’t worry! We’re happy to pick you up and provide rides when necessary.
