  Description

  Participate in the "Back-stage" of the agro-cultural project in the Guadalest Valley.
  
  The spaces:
  1. An olive grove with an amphitheater. To make our own olive oil and agro-cultural activities.
  2. A garden that moves towards self-sufficiency with fruit trees, orchards, mobile constructions for housing, solar electricity, chickens, compost bins... With common areas such as a glass living room, porch with views, pond, shade and rest areas, bathroom and kitchen .
  3. In a small pedestrian street in the nearby town (Benimantell) two houses that serve as accommodation and logistics base during the activities. In addition to rooms with beds, there are several common spaces: terrace, kitchen, living room, bathroom, activity room and workshop.
  
  Accommodation can be in a caravan or beds in the shared rooms of the town house, depending on preference and availability. We dedicate about 4-5 hours a day to carrying out our tasks, distributed according to the jobs to be done, which can be:
  - SUSTAINABLE HOME. Watering, chickens, cooking, cleaning, food preservation,...
  - MAINTENANCE. Small repairs and improvements in carpentry, masonry, plumbing and irrigation, sewing,...
  - CROPS. Depending on the season we harvest, prepare the land, plant, prune,... We have an entire field of olive trees to make oil and in the garden a variety of fruit trees for self-consumption such as pear trees, loquats, figs, avocados, oranges, lemons, kiwis, grape, ...
  - PROJECTS. Intensive weeks of teamwork for bigger improvements. We have pending the installation of a yurt, finishing the construction of the sauna, making another bathroom in the house, improving the irrigation system,... The mountain environment offers a multitude of nature excursion options.

  Participa del "Back-stage" del proyecto agro-cultural en el Valle de Guadalest.
  
  Los espacios:
  1. Un olivar con un anfiteatro. Para hacer nuestro propio aceite de oliva y actividades agro-culturales.
  
  2. Un jardín que camina hacia la autosuficiencia con frutales, huerta, construcciones móviles para vivienda, electricidad solar, gallinas, composteras… Con zonas comunes como una salita de cristal, porche con vistas, estanque, zonas de sombra y descanso, baño y cocina.
  
  3. En una pequeña calle peatonal del pueblo cercano (Benimantell) dos casas que sirven de alojamiento y base logística durantes las actividades. Además de habitaciones con camas hay varios espacios comunes: terraza, cocina, salón, baño, sala de actividades y taller.
  
  El alojamiento puede ser en caravana o camas en las habitaciones compartidas de la casa del pueblo, dependiendo de la preferencia y disponibilidad.
  
  Dedicamos a realizar nuestras tareas unas 4-5 horas al día, repartidos según los trabajos a realizar que pueden ser:
  - HOGAR SOSTENIBLE. Regar, gallinas, cocina, limpieza, conservación de alimentos, ...
  - MANTENIMIENTO. Pequeños arreglos y mejoras de carpintería, albañileria, fontaneria y riego, costura, ...
  - CULTIVOS. Según la temporada cosechamos, preparamos la tierra, plantamos, podamos, ... Tenemos un campo entero de olivos para hacer aceite y en el jardin una variedad de frutales para autoconsumo como perales, nisperos, higos, aguacates, naranjas, limones, kiwis, uva, ...
  - PROYECTOS. Semanas intensivas de trabajo en equipo para mejoras más grandes. Tenemos pendiente la instalación de una yurta, terminar la construcción de la sauna, hacer otro baño en la casa, mejorar el sistema de riego, ..
  
  El entorno de montaña, ofrece multitud de opciones de excursiones en la naturaleza.

  Help

  Our work rhythm is guided by the seasons of the year, and the cultural activities that we organize, therefore different tasks are required at different times of the year. In winter we tune up the facilities, fertilize the orchards and plant new trees. In spring we prepare the gardens, check the irrigation, and celebrate the Spring Festival. In summer we mainly water, harvest, do activities in the town festivals, and cool off in the river. In autumn the Festival comes here, and then we harvest the olives to make oil, and we start pruning. Facility and garden maintenance tasks, there is always something to do.

  Nuestro ritmo de trabajo se guia por las estaciones del año, y las actividades culturales que organizamos, por lo tanto se requieren diferentes labores en diferentes momentos del año.
  En invierno ponemos a punto las instalaciones, abonamos los huertos y plantamos nuevos arboles.
  En primavera preparamos los huertos, revisamos los riegos, y celebramos el Festivall de primavera.
  En verano principalmente regamos, cosechamos, hacemos actividades en las fiestas de los pueblos, y nos refrescamos en el rio.
  En otoño viene el Festival aqui, y a continuación cosechamos los olivas para hacer aceite, y nos ponemos a podar.
  
  Tareas de mantenimiento de instalaciones y jardineria siempre haya algo para hacer.

  Accommodation

  Accommodation is usually in the caravans at the garden (Beniardá) or in a room at the Agro-Cultural Hostel (Benimantell).
  
  The food is vegetarian. We mostly use whole and organic legumes and cereals, vegetables and fruit from our own or from nearby producers, giving priority to local seasonal products.

  La comida es vegetariana. Utilizamos mayormente legumbres y cereales integrales y ecológicos, verdura y fruta propia o de productores cercanos, dando prioridad a los productos locales de temporada.
