I’m a designer who recently moved to France with my wife who is a nurse and our son who is about to turn 5.
We are looking for a native French person or couple to join our family as we build a life in rural France. We are looking for someone who enjoys cultural exchange, conversation, meals, local outings, and helping us improve our French. -

You will stay with a creative family. My wife is a nurse (and great cook) and we have an adorable 5 year old who goes to the local village school. I’m an Industrial designer now working in jewelry. I love the arts, culture and the latest trends. You can learn from my 30 year experience in designing as I now apply this expertise to jewelry design and making.

Accommodation
We offer a fully independent apartment in a separate building called the cottage, with its own private terrace. It has a bright, modern design with a double bed with modern high end bedding. It has air conditioning and underfloor heating. There is a desk with an Apple 27" monitor and keyboard. You will have access to a beautiful modern swimming pool and an Italian espresso coffee machine. We are rural, but not far from shops and a local historical village called Lauzerte. Modern home with traditional charm!
We will provide meals and access to food. If we don’t provide food we will pay a stipend for food. -
What else ...
Explore the region and visit many beautiful villages and historical sites. There is an electric bike available for getting to local towns, but we advise having your own means of transportation if you want to go further afield. You can join us to visit local markets.

Dedicated desk, high speed internet. Quiet space for work. Printer, monitor, keyboard and mouse. I also have an office in a local space near with plenty of additional space for desktop working with access to a 3D printer for those who are experienced using them.
