We are an international family of 4. Dad German. Mum Danish. We have been expats for over a decade and have now returned to my home country Denmark but we miss the international interaction and inspiration. Our children, twins that are both 9 yrs. old are forgetting their English and we would love to welcome an international spirit into our home and hearts that could speak English with us and help us out in our busy every day.
We are early birds so the day starts early around 06:00 am with kids getting up and ready for school/work so it would be great if you are an early riser as well.

We have lived all around the world so we can share our inputs from different kind of places. Næstved where we live, is a typical Danish suburb with 50.000 people. Næstved is an hour away from Copenhagen by train. We are a relaxed but busy family so structure and order is necessary. We love to play boardgames/cardgames and be outside. We care about our health and love to exercise. I am a hypnotherapist and my husband a CFO. We both work from home so always someone to enjoy lunch with.
We mostly need help in the house with cleaning, cooking, washing, ironing and garden but we would appreciate someone who are open to ad hoc projects as there are ALWAYS something to do.
We prefer a non-smoker and singles.

Our guestroom is light and nice with a closet bed (140 cm wide) and a closet. It has direct access to the garden.
You will have to share a bathroom with our children.
Food and meals will be together with us (except breakfast as we are quite busy in the mornings).
We are neighbour to a golf course so if you are into golfing then you can walk there and play. We also live within walking distance from the water and a forest. My husband and I bathe - all year around. There is a bigger beach just 5 km. away. In your sparetime you could explore the surrounding area. It is great for cycling, running. You could also see the rest of Denmark. In 4 hours maksimum you will reach a border or the water. Copenhagen - the Capital is an hour away with car.
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families
You can sit in your own room or in the living room space with a view to the sea. But as you will be sharing the livingroom with my husband who is mostly on the phone, you will need to have ear phones or something else so you don't disturb him and vise versa.
Feel free to park your van outside our house.
We have a dog ourselves so as long as your pet is ok with her then it will be fine. She is ok with other dogs but she will let them know that she is the boss around here. However, we only want to welcome your pet if it is housetrained and does not ruin stuff around the house.
Maximum 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week
