  Hello Workawayers! My name is Marisa, and I live in a small country house 15 minutes from Gandia. I work as a teacher at a small school near my home, but whenever I have the chance, I escape to travel the world, which is one of the things I love most. That's why hosting Workawayers is interesting to me, especially if it's possible to interact with the people who come to my house beyond just looking after my home and cats while I'm traveling. I live with my two cats, Pipa and Coquito, and taking care of them is very important to me. Pipa is a 4-year-old female and quite timid, although she enjoys receiving affection when she asks for it. Coquito is a 6-year-old male, quite dominant, who often gets into fights with the neighborhood cats, but he's very affectionate and always wants to be petted and scratched. They both like to be outside in the garden, although they always come back inside to sleep at night. In addition to speaking my native languages (Spanish and Valencian), I can also communicate fluently in English, and I know a little bit of French.
  
  ¡Hola workawayers! Mi nombre es Marisa y vivo en una casita de campo a 15 minutos de Gandia. Trabajo como maestra en una escuelita cerca de casa, pero cuando tengo posibilidad me escapo a viajar por el mundo que es una de las cosas que más me gusta. Por eso, recibir workawayers para mi es interesante, si es posible poder interactuar con las personas que vengan a mi casa más allá de que cuiden de mi hogar y de mis gatos cuando yo estoy viajando.
  Vivo con mis dos gatos Pipa y Coquito, y cuidar de ellos es algo muy importante para mi. Pipa es una hembra de 4 añitos y es una gata bastante miedosa, aunque le gusta recibir mimos cuando ella lo pide. Coquito es un macho de 6 años, la verdad bastante dominante que suele pelearse con los gatos del barrio, pero es muy cariñoso y siempre quiere que lo acaricien y lo rasquen. A los dos les gusta estar por fuera de casa en el jardín, aunque por la noche siempre a casa a dormir.
  Además de hablar mis lenguas nativas (español y valenciano), también me puedo comunicar con fluidez en inglés, y sé un poquito de francés.

  Help

  I'm interested in people who love cats and enjoy spending time in the countryside. My house is very cozy, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. Whoever comes to look after my cats can comfortably stay in the guest room and use all the common areas, including the wonderful porch for barbecues. In the summer, I also set up the pool to cool off, as it tends to get quite hot in this area. So, anyone who wants to help me look after my house and cats when I'm away is welcome. It's important to me that the person who comes takes care of my house, as I like to keep it clean and tidy. In addition to housekeeping, it's also appreciated if the person enjoys gardening and wants to help me care for my plants and trees (especially watering them in the summer!) or plant new ones in the garden. Also, if you come while I'm here, we can do a language exchange. I'm particularly interested in improving my French, although any language or cultural exchange is always positive for me.
  
  Me interesan personas que sean amantes de los gatos y que les guste pasar tiempo en el campo. Mi casa es muy acogedora, tiene 3 habitaciones y un baño. Quien venga a cuidar a mis gatos puede quedarse cómodamente en la habitación de invitados y hacer uso de todos los espacios comunes, incluyendo el maravilloso porche para hacer alguna barbacoa. En verano también monto la piscina para poder refrescarse ya que suele hacer bastante calor en esta zona. Así que quien quiera ayudarme a cuidar de mi casa y mis gatos cuando esté fuera, es bienvenido/a. Es importante para mi que la persona que venga tenga cuidado de mi casa ya que me gusta tenerla limpia y ordenada.
  Además del cuidado de la casa, también se valora si la persona que venga le gusta la jardinería y quiere echarme una mano a cuidar mis plantas y árboles (¡sobre todo regarlas en verano!) o plantar nuevas en el jardín.
  Así mismo, si vienen cuando esté yo aquí, podemos hacer intercambio de idiomas. Sobre todo me interesa mejorar mi francés, aunque cualquier idioma o intercambio cultural para mi siempre es positivo.

  Accommodation

  My house is very cozy and located in the countryside. I have three bedrooms, one of which is for guests or, in this case, for Workawayers, with a double bed. There is only one bathroom, and the kitchen and living room are in the same open-plan space. I also have a large garden with a spacious plot of land, so any Workawayer arriving with a campervan or motorhome can park their vehicle inside as there is plenty of room. The house is made of wood, with a lovely porch and a barbecue area, hammocks, and some fruit trees and pine trees. In the summer, I set up the pool because it tends to get very hot. During the week, I work every morning as a teacher, and I usually cook lunch after 3 pm, so it would be great to have help cooking lunch. If the person is only coming to look after the house and pets, basic food will be provided (by prior arrangement). If the person is coming to work four hours a day, we will arrange to cover all meals.
  
  Mi casa es muy acogedora y está en el campo. Tengo 3 habitaciones, una de ellas para los invitados o en este caso para los workawayers, con cama de matrimonio. Solamente dispone de un baño, y la cocina y salón están en un mismo espacio diáfano. También dispongo de un jardín grande con una parcela grande, por lo que cualquier workawayer que venga con autocaravana o furgoneta también puede meter dentro su vehículo ya que hay mucho espacio.
  La casa es de madera, con un bonito porche y zona para hacer barbacoa, hamacas y algunos árboles frutales y pinos. En verano monto la piscina porque suele hacer mucho calor.
  Entre semana trabajo todos los dias por las mañanas ya que soy maestra, ya que la comida suelo hacerla a partir de las 3 pm, por lo que sería genial recibir ayuda a la hora de cocinar para la hora de la comida. Si la persona viene solamente para cuidado de casa y mascotas, se proveerá de comida básica (previo acuerdo con la persona). Si la persona viene a trabajar 4 horas diarias, se acordará cubrir todas las comidas del día.

  No dispongo de conexión Wifi. Pero la cobertura telefónica llega perfectamente y no hay problemas con la red.

  Espacio amplio y llano. No hay baño en la parcela, solamente hay baño dentro de la casa, y es posible utilizarlo cuando sea necesario.
