Description
Hello, I am Nomin.
I am a traveler at heart — an explorer with an adventurous spirit. I have traveled across many countries in Southeast Asia and parts of Europe, and I have also lived in South Korea and London. My passion for cultural exchange and meaningful human connection continues to grow.
In the past, I hosted volunteers while running a small holistic retreat space near a national park. It was a very positive experience, and I truly value respectful, open-minded people. Now my life has shifted into a more grounded, slower, and family-oriented lifestyle.
We live just outside of Ulaanbaatar, between two locations — one closer to town and one in the countryside. Our lifestyle is simple, quiet, and connected to nature.
At this stage, I am looking for someone easygoing and kind to share daily life with us. This is not just about staying — it’s about being part of a home environment in a natural and respectful way.
There are always small, everyday things to do: helping around the house, simple creative tasks, spending time outdoors, gardening, or moving between the two locations together. Nothing heavy or complicated, but being willing to contribute and stay engaged in daily life is important.
If you enjoy simple living, nature, and being part of a calm but active home environment, you may feel comfortable here.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I have two places. The one near the city , you can access with public transport services and there are handful of great small dining and grocery places, hiking trails, great suburban experience you may like. The second place is remotely located in the middle of forest 100km from the city. There you can enjoy breathtaking scenery with local nomadic culture, visit local families, enjoy the beautiful water streams.

Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

Help
We are a small, easygoing family with an 8-year-old child. Because of this, we are looking for someone who is calm, emotionally stable, patient, and kind. Experience with children is important, and experience with neurodivergent or special needs children is a big plus (but not required if you are open and willing to learn).
We especially welcome individuals who can gently support learning, social interaction, and creativity through nature-based activities such as creative projects, outdoor play, and hiking. Our son is considered mildly autistic in medical terms, but to us he is a sensitive, intuitive, and uniquely gifted child. We are looking for someone who can connect with him with patience, respect, and a calm presence, helping him prepare for school in a natural and supportive way.
The help we are looking for includes:• Supporting daily routines with our child• Being a kind and present companion in everyday life• Spending calm, positive time together (play, reading, creative activities, outdoor walks)• Light household help
Our child is sensitive to energy and environment, so we truly need someone gentle, consistent, and respectful of boundaries. This is not a party or highly social environment — it is more suitable for someone who enjoys quiet living, nature, and meaningful connection.
We also appreciate practical skills such as basic carpentry, gardening, or simple decorating and organizing.
Please tell us about yourself, your experience with children, and your travel plans. We would also like to know why you feel this environment would be a good fit for you.
We are looking for the right person, not just any volunteer. If you feel aligned, we would be happy to connect further.
