Description
We live 5 minutes from Mcbride British Columbia Canada. Our hobby farm and Mcbride are one of the few remaining small town rural farm cultural communities. We are in a valley between the Rockie and Caribou mountain ranges. We are a 1.5 hour drive from the ski hills of Jasper National Park. Mcbride is the ski dooing, kayaking, capital of the world. It is one of the most community oriented, beautiful, healthy, natural, wild, and peaceful places in the world. We need help planting a garden, garlic crop & other light farm chores. The house is clean and newly renovated. Our pets include a protective massive presa canario mastiff dog, 2 cats, 10 chickens and 9 ducks. We can provide a Range River for trips to town. The town has 2 grocery stores, a home hardware, train station, restaurants, bars, gym and liqueur store.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
As a cultural experience you will be learning the culture of rural farm life in Canada. You will also experience the importance our culture puts on respecting and preserving nature. We are embedded in protected parks which are protected by both national and provincial governments. This includes Jasper national Park, the Ancient Forest , mount Robson, and BC bird sanctuary. Experiencing this part of Canadian culture will be actualized through farm chores, hikes, sight seeing, rodeos, pow wows, and farmer markets .
Help
We need 1 person or a couple to garden, feed and watch the dog, 2 cats, 10 chickens, 9 ducks, clear the snow , stake wood to keep the wood furnace running and general landscaping .
