    Description

Most Northerly surf beach on the East coast is just 5km away. An easy push bike ride!
View of the dam with Round Hill in the backdrop as you walk out the door of your accommodation is magnificent. Peaceful area with the occasional visit from local kangaroos.
There are walking tracks and National Parks close by.
1770 is a further 2km from Main Beach, again, an easy bike ride.
Depending on the time of year you can spot whales, dolphins and turtles from the beaches or many of the beach look outs.
We started set up of our property with Permaculture principals in 2020. There are now fruiting trees and established gardens that we need a hand maintaining.
A few projects are on the go. The biggest is the camp kitchen. Which you have an option to help out with its build if you are here when it's happening. There will be skilled locals doing the main structure who will paid and some also volunteering. As they have agreed to help out it depends on their availability as to when construction takes place. We will be hands on with you what ever the project.
Accommodation in our caravan in exchange for 4 to 5 hrs help a day depending on the weather.
Clancy is the resident Border Collie who loves hanging out with guests. We also breed ducks and Quails.

Markets are on most weeks at various locations
I am a permaculture design consultant, qualified chef and avid gardener. I love to exchange knowledge in these areas. I am interested in learning your methods in these areas and other interest you may have.
I am also learning to play the banjo and guitar.
We love to take visitors around our town and introduce them to our coastal /country lifestyle.
If interested beyond permaculture, we can teach you to paddleboard , fish from the beach or kayak.

There will be plenty of time to go fishing, surfing, bike riding, swimming, hiking. Take an art class in town, get a massage, nail salon, shopping, local markets.
Night life is usually Friday and Saturday nights at a variety of locations around town. There is a local taxi that you can book.
I go to town regularly during the day and can drop you off with a push bike or you can ride and take in the sights.

There will be skilled locals doing the main structure who will paid and some also volunteering. You will help us to prune, weed, maintain and plant in the garden.
Most tasks will be done with us, or, we will be helping the same hours with you in the garden. Would love to exchange tips and tricks about permaculture, sustainable building or nature. The camp kitchen built with a variety of building materials and methods and when completed, truly unique.
