Description
Hi, I'm Arne Petter ☺️ I need some help in and around my house!
I am a 31 year old guy and grew up here in Evenes. I am quite fun and easy to get to know. I have an education as an electrical engineer, if for whatever reason you find that relevant 😅
Here you can join me (and my extended family) and enjoy the norwegian nature☀️ You can go fishing in the sea, hike the mountains and together we can go to my family's cabin if you want ☺️
At my parents farm near by you can meet the cows, and well... also my parents 😁 They are all very welcoming and would love to meet you. Also, there we can go in the jacuzzie and use the sauna ☺️
Also, if you guys want to explore nature in the norwegian way, we have a lot of hiking-gear you can borrow. Tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, fishing gear and so on.

My parents live close by on a farm. On the farm there is often a lot of stuff happening, especially in the summer. So if you like animals, this could be a fun place to check out. Here we have milking cows and a few hens.
In the summer there is a lot of barbecues with my parents and siblings and friends etc, bathing in the sea and in the river, going fishing by boat, going hiking in the mountains and to the cabin. There is a huge cave we can check out and there is mountains to explore! 🥰
In the winter its more the time to light the fire place and make a cup of tea and do a bit more of indoors stuff. Of course this is also the time to go out and watch the northern lights. Also in the winter we really like to go skiing. And we have gear you can borrow so you can try it too :) Sometimes it is also possible to go fishing on the sea when it has frozen to ice, which is quite fun. Ill add a picture of my cousin fishing on the profile ☺️
My disadvantage is that i am sick with Chronic Fatigue Syndrom (CFS). So I cant go crazy and do all the stuff I want to. I need to rest a lot. So most of the time you will have to explore my surroundings without me. But as long as it is not to active, I can join in sometimes when my health allows it. But for the more active stuff, my family will be happy to have you tag along with whatever they are planning.
Having workawayers for a couple of years now have been so much fun. In fact I have made friends for life ☺️
Also feel free to check out the reviews from my previous workawayers ☺️
Help
This year i am planning on building a new kitchen. It might be a little technical so it is preferable if you have some experience in carpentry or renovating. This way you can do tasks more individually in case i need some extra resting days. But if all goes as planned we will be working together as a team, and hopefully at one point having built a somewhat functioning kitchen. What could go wrong? 😅😁

Accommodation
Since i just bought my very own house, me and you guys will be living there together. It has two bedrooms, one for you Workawayers and one for me. It has a fireplace and is pretty modern and spacious. The picture with the view is from my living room.
I am located only a 10 minutes drive from the airport (Harstad/Narvik lufthavn, Evenes. So it's easy to get here by plane. I can pick you up at the airport if you want 😊
Evenes is located in the middle between the cities of Harstad and Narvik. Here we often go for shopping if we need supplies that is not available at the local supermarkets. We are also located about one hour drive from Sweeden and also about two hours drive from Lofoten. So its definitely possible for you to go there for a weekend trip if you want :)
What else ...
I have a car. I also have bikes you can borrow.
The grocery store is walking distance from my house. It is by the sea and the dock, so definitely a good place for an ice cream :D
