Description
Welcome to beautiful Pender Island BC. This Workaway site is beautifully nestled in the forest within walking distance to the local town center and some beautiful beaches. We are looking for just 2 to 3 people to help us grow and harvest food, do yard work and chop wood. So if you have experience in these areas please feel free to reach out (preference to food growers).
We are looking for people who love nature and working outdoors. Who are very mindful and will help us maintain the quiet solitude of this beautiful space we have created which includes access to a nature spa with out-door showers (note: you will need to be respectful of personal space here), sauna, cold plunge and private washrooms. There is also a private indoor shower and laundry facilities and 5kms of private on property nature trails.
Note that we can offer tent sites and tents to those that don't have their own. Breakfast is provided but Workaways will be provided a $25/day allowance to buy and prepare their meals in a beautifully appointed outdoor chef kitchen, complete with everything you will ever need to cook (host is a former chef).
We are looking for friendly people to help out — either short-term (typically 1 week minimum) or even potentially longer-term. We are happy to share meals together on occasion and also work together but we are also very happy for you to be independent. What is most important to us is that you are considerate and mindful with us, the work, and the healing space we are trying to create and share here.

There are so many opportunities here on our property. We would love to find someone who knows a fair amount about organic gardening. We also need help with the general upkeep of the property — cleaning the trails, chopping wood, etc.

We have a few options: a small 1-person tent — that is very cozy and comfy.
We also have a few large tents (they say they are 6-person tents but we say no more than 2 ppl).
There is also have a new large luxury shower/bathroom/laundry facility that is shared with hosts (nature spa).
We also offer beautiful outdoor showers and a cold exposure tub and sauna.
What else ...
Pender Island is a beautiful spot to live and explore. It is a much saught after destination for locals and tourists. If nature is your thing, then you will LOVE it here.
