  Village house project in Portuguese beauty spot. I'm in the final stages of doing up a traditional house. I'm a yoga teacher (and so is my daughter). I used to be an organic farmer. it would be great to have some help and meet some interesting people.

  I like using natural products for decorating, I'm a yoga and meditation teacher and would be happy to do some yoga sessions while you are staying. I'm not vegetarian but it's not a problem if you are. The location is incredible in a traditional rural part of Portugal with a hilltop village and castle and a large lake nearby.

  Help

  I'm doing up a village house at Monsaraz - one of Portugal's incredible beauty spots. It's a traditional house and painting is usually with natural paints such as lime or chalk. I do already have 2 log burners installed and heating/AC in the bedrooms so it is comfortable for living. There are some great cafe's and restaurants and cool little shops within walking distance - and there is a sandy lake beach nearby too
  
  I'm looking for general help to move forward with the house and gardens - mostly painting and getting some structure in the garden.
  
  I would like to find either a couple or some friends who are female because I do live by myself some of the time. Sometimes I have my adult children here or other friends.
  
  I trained in India as a Hatha yoga teacher and also trained in Ayurveda to support women with hormonal issues. Will be happy to do yoga with you if you would like.

  Accommodation

  The accommodation would be in the house. At the moment I have a guest bedroom which is finished and decorated that you could use. There is also a separate apartment in the house which is still a work in progress. It is quite a large house so you can have plenty of space

  What else ...

  You would be based at Monsaraz in rural Portugal. it's very rural but also a well known beauty spot and so there are great cafes and a lake beach nearby. It's good for walking and experiencing traditional Portuguese life
