    Description

Welcome to my super cozy home amongst the towering gum trees in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. I'm Brynn (she/her) and I live on a beautiful half an acre of established gardens in Olinda.

    About the property
Nestled into the gardens is a 3 bedroom log cabin with two fire places, a spa (hot tub) and an outdoor shower.

    The offer
In exchange for accommodation guests provide 2 hours per day (10 hours per week) of assistance in the garden and with household maintenance tasks. (I have a cleaner who cleans inside fortnightly, leaving us time to focus on the outdoors).
I’m keen to welcome guests for stays between 2 days and 2 weeks. Longer stays can be negotiated if the conditions are right.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Having been a former traveler/backpacker myself I’m keen to connect with people eager to explore different countries, cultures and immerse themselves in nature while lending a helping hand to the property. Open minded, inclusive and rainbow friendly folks are a must. Travellers with disability welcome as the home is level entry, as is the shower. Non smokers and dog lovers are very welcome here.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

1 of the bedrooms with a queen bed is up for grabs.

There are 2 toilets in the house and one very large shared bathroom with a shower, although, in the right seasons guests often prefer to use the outdoor shower.

There is a very large entertainers kitchen with room for many people to gather, cook and store food and items.

Caravans also welcome. There is outdoor power and water available.

Guests are expected to use all of their own supplies including toiletries, laundry detergents, food and drinks. Good wifi is available and free. Guests are encouraged to use electricity when the solar panels are most effective where possible (ie, washing clothes and running the dishwasher on sunny days).
There is a small grocery store and a fantastic local produce market in walking distance. Guests can also have groceries delivered to the property for free (using my delivery account).

A woman with short hair smiles warmly at the camera indoors. She wears a dark collared shirt, with natural light and a cozy home in the background.
Three colorful parrots perch on a kitchen windowsill. Outside, a sunny garden features a wooden deck, hot tub, outdoor furniture, and lush green foliage. Indoors: butter, crackers.
This kitchen features large windows with forest views, white cabinets, wooden floors, an island with stools, a coffee machine, modern appliances, and sleek, minimalist decor.
