Help
Located in the farm country of northeast Ohio, Shepherd’s Bridge provides a working farm environment where the elements of sustainable farming are learned and experienced.
The vision is to honor the Creator who has provided all living things. We employ natural farming methods and encourage stewardship of the land and it resources through specific instruction and hands on learning opportunities.
We are seeking an eager married couple or individual who is willing to help with daily chores and routine farm maintenance who are interested in raising naturally grown produce, raising poultry and other livestock. We have chickens, sheep and alpacas. We raise mushrooms, garden vegetables, do aquaponics, have a greenhouse, cut wood for stoves, make hay, and compost, and make our own maple syrup.
We offer food and housing in exchange for 25 hours of volunteer experience weekly. Volunteers prepare their own meals from farm produce or provided groceries. No smoking, parties or illegal drug use is permitted and quiet times in main house must be observed. Two week minimum stay required.
