  We are María Isabel and Pedro, our dreams brought us back to the South, in search of water, forests and the rhythm of nature. We have created this space for those who, like us, seek to reconnect with the air, land and water in a different way.
  This place is a rural lodging, it has a large front garden where the parking lot is located, we also have a back garden, there you can find our greenhouse and sauna, and various fruit trees such as apple trees.
  The main experience we want to deliver is the warmth of home, that's why we are looking for people who want to transmit that warmth to our guests and meanwhile... who want to embrace the opportunity to get to know the beginning of the famous Carretera Austral in Chile!
  
  Somos María Isabel y Pedro, nuestros sueños nos trajeron de regreso al Sur, en busca del agua, los bosques y el ritmo de la naturaleza. Hemos creado este espacio para quienes, como nosotros, buscan reconectarse con el aire, la tierra y el agua de una manera diferente.
  Es un hospedaje rural, cuenta con un gran jardín delantero donde se encuentra el estacionamiento, también contamos con un jardín trasero, allí podrá encontrar nuestro invernadero, el sauna, y diversos árboles frutales como manzanos.
  La principal experiencia que queremos entregar es el calor de hogar, buscamos personas que quieran transmitir ese calor a nuestros huéspedes y de paso… que quieran aprovechar de conocer el inicio de la famosa Carretera Austral en Chile !

  At our cozy hostel, you will be able to enjoy a comfortable stay. While helping us with the daily tasks of the hostel, you will have the chance to meet people from different places of Chile and other countries, as well as locals. We are surrounded by a great variety of natural attractions, so there are a lot of things to do.
  
  Within a short distance from our hostel, you will find the famous Termas del Sol, where you can immerse yourself in revitalizing thermal waters and enjoy their health and wellness benefits. We also recommend visiting the Mirador Turismo Costa Norte, from where you can appreciate impressive panoramic views of the coast and its surroundings. They offer a series of short treks and river tourism activities. We are very close to several national parks and volcanoes, giving you the opportunity to observe the rich fauna and flora of the region. Depending on the season, there are winter sports available, and you can always go trekking and hiking on their scenic trails.
  
  For water sports enthusiasts, we have Lake Tagua Tagua. Here you will find a wide range of recreational activities, such as sport fishing, boat rides, and the chance to explore the hidden corners of the lake. You can also practice kayaking and rafting on the Puelo River, depending on the conditions and time of year.
  
  
  En nuestro acogedor hostal, podrás disfrutar de una estancia cómoda, Mientras nos ayudas con las tareas diarias de nuestro hostal, tendras la oportunidad de conocer personas de distintas partes de Chile, de otros paises y lugareños tambien. Estamos rodeados de una gran variedad de atracciones naturales, por lo que hay mucho por hacer.
  
  A poca distancia de nuestro hostal, encontrarás las famosas Termas del Sol, donde podrás sumergirte en revitalizantes aguas termales y disfrutar de sus beneficios para la salud y el bienestar. También te recomendamos visitar el Mirador Turismo Costa Norte, desde donde podrás apreciar impresionantes vistas panorámicas de la costa y sus alrededores. Ofrecen una serie de excursiones cortas y actividades de turismo fluvial. Estamos muy cerca de varios parques nacionales y volcanes, lo que te brinda la oportunidad de observar la rica fauna y flora de la región. Dependiendo de la estación, se pueden practicar deportes de invierno, y siempre se puede practicar senderismo y excursionismo por sus pintorescos senderos.
  
  Para los amantes de los deportes acuáticos, tenemos el lago Tagua Tagua. Aquí encontrarás una amplia gama de actividades recreativas, como pesca deportiva, paseos en bote y la posibilidad de explorar los rincones escondidos del lago. También puedes practicar kayak y rafting en el río Puelo, dependiendo de las condiciones y la época del año.

  Help

  At the B&B, its owners (2 people) work full time, welcoming and serving guests, preparing breakfasts and dinners. For cleaning the rooms and common spaces of the hostel, washing and ironing, we have a permanent hired worker and another support worker for weekends and high season. .
  
  We just need support with reception and guest service (as give them information about the B&B and the area and serve as link with owners and workers of the hostel), with gardening (doing gardening projects, cutting the grass and maintaining the garden), with carpentry (small jobs with furniture and projects for outdoor spaces, such as fences, walkways or planters), with improvement of hostel spaces (minor decoration projects, signage , or lighting) and with the management of recycling and implementation of new spaces. Ideas and hands to improve our spaces and services are welcome!
  
  En el B&B trabajamos tiempo completo sus dueños (2 personas), que recibimos y atendemos a los huéspedes, preparamos desayunos y cenas. Para las labores de aseo habitaciones y espacios comunes del hostal, lavado y planchado, contamos con una trabajadora fija contratada y otra trabajadora de apoyo para fines de semana y temporada alta.Necesitamos sólo apoyo con la recepción y atención de huéspedes (como darles información del B&B y de la zona y servir de nexo con los dueños y trabajadores), con jardineria (hacer proyectos de jardinería, cortar el cesped y mantener el jardín), con carpintería (trabajos pequeños con muebles y proyectos para espacios exteriores, como cercas, pasarelas o jardineras), con mejoramiento de espacios del hostal (proyectos menores de decoración, señalética, o iluminación) y con el manejo de reciclaje e implementación de nuevos espacios. Son bienvenidas las ideas y las manos para mejorar nuestros espacios y servicios!

  What else ...

  Regarding public transportation, we are in a rural area, so it operates with less frequency. There are only two buses that pass in front of the hostel some days. However, we are a 20-minute walk from Puelo town, where buses arrive and depart 4-5 times a day to the city of Puerto Montt (3 1/2 hrs). There are also local individuals who offer private trips, such as Uber, and we also have one bicycle available if you wish to use.
  
  Breakfast and a main meal (lunch or dinner) will be provided by the hostel and is self-service. Volunteers can also occupy the kitchen and prepare their own food, coordinating schedules and spaces in advance (the kitchen is not open to guests).
  
  En cuanto al transporte público, estamos en una zona rural, por lo que funciona con menos frecuencia. Sólo hay dos buses que pasan frente al hostal algunos días. Sin embargo, estamos a 20 minutos a pie del pueblo de Puelo, donde llegan y salen buses 4-5 veces al día a la ciudad de Puerto Montt (3 1/2 horas viaje). También hay personas locales que ofrecen viajes privados, como Uber, y también tenemos una bicicleta disponible, si desea usarla.
  
  El desayuno y una comida principal (almuerzo o cena) la proveerá el hostal y es de autoservicio. También voluntario puede ocupar la cocina y prepararse su propia comida, coordinando horarios y espacios previamente (la cocina no está abierta a los huéspedes).
