  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Volunteers can experience local daily life, culture, and traditions in a peaceful environment. Also they will learn about gardening in a tropical climate, basic home maintenance, and simple sustainable living.

The area has beautiful lakes, rocks, and natural landscapes around the city, and there is also local wildlife to see. We can share local customs, language, and lifestyle, and travellers are welcome to share their own culture, skills, and experiences. This exchange is based on learning, respect, and friendship.

  • Help

    Help

We accept help to keep the garden clean and beautiful. Tasks include cleaning around the garden, basic gardening, and sometimes light painting tasks, such as fences or walls.

The help is easy, and I will explain everything. I’m looking for friendly and reliable helpers. Thank you.

This host offers a language exchange
Yes, I’m interested in language exchange! More about it: I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning new languages. Guests are welcome to practice English (or your language) with me, and I’m excited to learn words and phrases from your language too. It’s a fun way to share culture while volunteering at the treehouse!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Cozy treehouse surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing, volunteering, and enjoying free travel adventures.
We would love to share one meal a day of traditional sri lankan food with our volunteers.
In the same property of the hostel there is my family's house, volunteers can also go there one time a day to prepare their own food . We just ask for you not to cook any porks or beefs.

In exchange we ask for about 3 to 5 hours of your time, 5 days a week, with helping in general activities like cleaning the space, gardening, helping to entertain the guests, etc... no hard work, just normal regular tasks to help keep the space in it's best shape and vibe.

Any if you have any questions or need any help you can always ask us!

  • What else ...
