Description
Living in rural Andalucia in a cave house on 12 acres of land, 700 olive trees, 70 fruit trees, 4 dogs and 2 cats means we are always looking for help.
We have accommodation in the main house (cave) for up to 7 people (2 double rooms and 1 triple room), and potentially in our 2 extra cave houses.
Heading into the Spring season, we are looking looking for help with painting, planting and pruning during April and May this year.
Any help with evening meals (vegetarian) is ALWAYS welcome.
We are pretty relaxed when it comes to the working hours - as long as the work gets done. We are very busy day to day so will not have the time to actually do the work with you. Instruction and guidance will be provided whenever its needed. We are definitely looking for people with self motivation who are happy to get on with the work on their own or as part of a team of workawayers.
We work hard and laugh hard and are looking for like-minded people.Types of help and learning opportunities

Experience life in a cave house in rural Andalucia (Granada Geopark). We are perfectly situated for anyone with an interest in or love of nature, hiking, biking, kayaking, wild swimming etc. Only 1h30min from Granada and all it offers, we are also surrounded by small rural villages and towns. Our nearest beach is only about 1hr30min away.
We would suit travellers who are looking for some peace and quiet and want to experience the tranquility of this largely undiscovered rural location.
Oh, and pottery, you can also learn to make ceramics/pottery if you want.Help
The type of things we need help with:
1 - painting and painting prep
2 - small repairs to plasterwork/replastering (if needed)
3 - pruning 700 young olive trees
4 - spring planting
5 - help with evening meals would be great but not a deal breaker
6 - odd jobs in the fields/garden
7 - dog walking (if needed)
8 - tiling (if needed)Languages spoken

I'm not sure I have the words to describe our experience with Debe & Christine? We loved them! So much so that we didn't want them to leave. We wanted them to move in permanently and be a part of the LAS DUNAS family.
These 2 ladies are fantastic! in every way. Their work ethic is incredible. After an initial explanation of… read more
