What else ...
La Herradura (as in Horseshoe) is a beautiful bay on Spain's south coast, one hour east of Malaga, and is part of the town of Almuñécar.
People who love the sea, the beach and sunshine will be very happy in this place.
It's a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beaches and the village where there are bars, restaurants and shops, including a supermarket.
There is a bus into the very pleasant town of Almuñécar, a short ride away, where there are shops for everything, loads of bars and an old town with typical Spanish qualities.
Wonderful walking and hiking.
If you play an orchestral instrument (i.e.classical) this is the place for you! There's a Grand Piano, Harpsichord and other insrtuments.
The house has wifi.
To go further afield (e.g. to the Alhambra) it's an easy bus to Granada from Almunecar or to the caves in Nerja.
Arrival is easy... Many buses stop in La Herradura otherwise it's Almuñecar from where yo'll be picked up.
The closest airport is Malaga, approx one hour away.
