    Hello!
We are Catarina, Nuno and Tomé, the cutest 1 year old that is a pleasure to spend time with 🤩 After 10 years living abroad, when we had Tomé we decided to settle back in the cool hometown of Nuno - Ericeira, the surf international village.

Me, Catarina, I am a life and relationship coach, and I also work online as a freelance HR and recruitment consultant. This last year work has been mainly on a back burner but still doing a bit every week, which I wish to increase when getting more help. And hopefully to start receiving my coaching retreat guests in our new space.

Nuno, my partner, is a local surfer, carpenter, and construction worker. He is super active and talented with his hands, always with a new project on his sleeve.

We live in Baleia, close to the beautiful São Julião beach, where we rented a large warehouse with big outdoor area, that we’ve been transforming into a unique living and working space. Outside the warehouse, we have a caravan and a wooden house that Nuno built himself. The caravan is where we host retreat guests and Workawayers. The project is very alive and evolving, and we see it as a shared creation rather than a finished place.

I’m aware that by Portuguese law when exchanging help with carrying for child and home, that a payment is required, which we can discuss and agree on (at least the hourly minimum wage).

We are both extroverted, open, and social people, and we enjoy having others around. Our home is often a meeting point for friends - Workawayers are very welcome to be part of this lifestyle, joining shared meals, beach days, surf sessions, spontaneous gatherings, and relaxed evenings at home.
There is a huge international community in Ericeira always with events happening, which you can get to know through the existing WhatsApp group.

Our warehouse space is shared with João, Nuno’s father, an artist with inspiring creative projects. You will also cross paths with Cita, his wife and our neighbor, who is a German surfboard shaper and repairs boards.

The main support we’re calling in is help with caring for Tomé - playing with him, accompanying him, and supporting our family rhythm while I work online or host retreat guests. As part of it would have need help with preparing meals, mainly for lunch time which would be the share meal.
This doesn’t have to be daily or for 4/5h at one go, but more sporadic according to my work needs and a plan we will make together.
If you like to be active and create new things we still have a long away to transform the warehouse into a cool living and working space.

Workawayers are welcome to stay in our caravan where you can have your private, big comfy bed with views, kitchen and full bathroom. But when we’re hosting retreat guests in the caravan, you would temporarily move into the warehouse instead, where we are creating a nice living, room, kitchen space and where there is already a full bathroom.

If you prefer, you’re also free to stay in the warehouse full-time instead of the caravan - whichever option feels better for you.

We aim to make your stay comfortable, flexible, and suited to both your and our needs.
Regarding meals we would probably share and co-create lunch, maybe sometimes dinner, we will flexibly organize this topic together.
