Description
Hi everyone!
My name is Daniel Galindo, a Colombian citizen living in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest since 2017. I am an empiric artist, and I am developing a space where local people (and Workwayers of course) can find the best natural and human environment to ignite their artistic spark. Therefore, I'm building a haven for the artist that is inside every visitor.
I have made big steps building this space with bioconstruction methods like stone and bamboo, but now the time for Cob building has arrived.
I you want to help me in this initiative I offer you this:
-Food (Colombian and Peruvian) and roof.
-Free passage to collect all the fruits you can find and eat in the field
- Empiric Knowledge in different areas, like woodcarving, drawing, wood furniture, Sculpture, Bamboo Building, Cob Building, etc.
-Empiric knowledge about Agroecology focused in Amazonian ecosystems.
-My project is close to Sukhothai Sactuary (Buddisht Sanctuary)

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
In my Haven we can exchange artistic knowledge in the practical sense (Sculpting, Drawing, Wall Painting, Baduk matches, etc).
In addition, the place is close to a Buddhist Sanctuary, where you can share with local people sorrounded by a beautiful landscape. I can teach you Spanish if you want, in order to connect with Amazonian people.
Not so far away there are some native communities that you can visit easily.Help
The infrastructure of my project is not finished yet. Currently, I am building the social area and the central tower. My goal is to achieve a consistent and powerful creative appearance that invites people to rest and look at their interior. I am building a Haven for artists if you understand me.
First stages were built by stone and bamboo. Now, I need help raising other walls with Cob (a material made by the mix of Clay, sand and Straw). This technique is flexible and allows us to try many ideas for decoration. The technique is not expensive because it uses natural resources, but it demands a large amount of hand work, and to be honest, it demands (and I prefer) hand work coming from sensitive people. That is the reason I am calling people who want to learn artistic and natural techniques for building.
In addition, a lot of sculpting work is in progress. I exchange sculpting knowledge with the help that you can offer in the work that is developing at the moment of your visit.
Wall Painting could be made too.Languages

I'm sure for them (him and his friend Kjell) the way we work here could be rustic and sometimes hard, but we never push anyone to do something he doesn't want. In this respect, Fabrice gave more than we expected (I mean, he carried such big stones and no one gave the order!!!) by free will. I really… read more
