Description
Hello to all Workawayers from around the globe.
We are 2 good friends with teenage kids, a dog and 2 cats. 8 years ago we bought a beautiful farm house with a big garden, no farmlands though, and started renovating the old house into 2 new homes. Once that was done we turned the barn into a place with meeting rooms, a big kitchen and B&B units.
Our group of people consists of Monique (60) & Matthis (18) living in the farmhouse and Arrad (59).
We will of course provide you with enough food, a place to stay and a little bit of pocket money.

Travelers can experience the traditional Dutch countryside (flat farm lands), all the while being relatively close to Amsterdam and Utrecht, which is another very nice and beautiful old city in Holland. Just around the corner of our home there are natural reserves that are a paradise for bird watchers and fishermen.

And now it's time to finish all the little projects in and around our homes, like painting doors and walls, repairing the chicken coop, cutting some trees, weeding the garden, some carpentry projects, etc ...
Therefore we're looking for a handy DIY couple (or two friends that are not afraid to share a bed) that have some experience in painting, some experience in construction/renovation and also don't mind to do some cleaning once in a while. You will have to speak English reasonably well and be able to work with only a little guidance. Please don't message us if you don't have a travelcompagnon, we need two people and have only one kingsize bed.

There's a tiny home with a small kitchen and bathroom where you'll live.
What else ...
You can expect us to provide you with wifi, good tools and whenever the weather is right we'll have a barbecue all together. We'll have coffee and lunch together everyday. In the evening you'll prepare your own dinner. Public transport is a short bike ride away. The bus takes you to Amsterdam, The Hague or Rotterdam in approximately one hour and to Utrecht in a little more than half an hour. The nearest shops and supermarkets are only a short bike ride away.
