We are a tour company located in the heart of the jungle in the Sierra Nevada in Colombia one of the world's most diverse ecological systems. Your time here will be spent surrounded by amazing wildlife and beautiful flora. We offer bushcraft and survival classes, courses, internships as well as expeditions to teach the essentials of surviving in a harsh environment. We also develop and work on eco projects to protect the beautiful environment we live in and teach local kids about the importance of sustainability and how to appreciate nature.
Our grounds include the school, private rooms, riverside camping in tents and hammocks and a restaurant/beer garden.

Are you a trained chef? Do you have a flair for creative cuisine? Interested in working amongst the tranquility of the jungle? Our partner company, La Fuente Bed & Breakfast, where many of our guests stay before and after the tours, is in need of a chef. Located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the largest coastal mountain range in the world, you will be surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of tropical flora, buzzing hummingbirds and other wildlife and the flowing, mountain-fresh river whilst you cook for our guests.
Due to our chef leaving the country to renew visa, we have an opportunity for an experienced chef to help us out for around 3 - 6 months. We are looking for someone as soon as posibul Hoping for a transition period where our current chef can train this new person depending on the dates that work out.

Our Volunteers sleep in tents or hammocks right next to a beautiful river with beautiful flowers and jungle all around.
Our school is located about a 40 minute walk/ 10 minute moto ride from beautiful Minca in the Sierra Nevada in Colombia.
In your free time and your days off you can explore the beautiful jungle and fincas all around us, walk 15 minutes to a 40 m waterfall where you can swim, enjoy a day in the sleepy village of Minca, walk a couple of hours up to El Dorado one of the best bird watching places in the world, or walk a little further up to Cerro Kennedy for stunning views of the highest costal mountain range in the world, go down to the coast and enjoy a party night or diving trip in Santa Marta or Taganga, explore the beautiful beaches of Tayrona National Park, the beaches in and around Palomino or simply lay in one of our hammocks and enjoy a book and a cold beer.
