Description
Gilles, a veterinarian, and Bénédicte, a musician, parents and grandparents, have been living in the region for several years. We will welcome you to our beautiful home in La Garde, with a garden and a swimming pool. You will have your own independent space and plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of the region. We are looking for a little help with maintaining the house and garden. We will gladly share lots of ideas on things to do and places to visit during your free time (sports, culture, etc.).

Nous vous accueillerons dans notre belle maison à la Garde, avec un jardin et une piscine. Vous aurez un espace indépendant et le temps de profiter de la beauté de la région. Nous cherchons un petit coup de main pour l'entretien de la maison et du jardin. Nous vous donnerons plein d'idées de quoi faire et où aller durant votre temps libre (sport, culture, etc) -

We speak French, English, and German. We'd love to talk about music and literature. Cultural exchanges enrich us, and we'd be happy to show you the region and French culture if you're interested, and we look forward to discovering yours. There won't be much to learn in terms of tasks, but we hope they won't be unpleasant!
Nous parlons français, anglais et allemand. Nous serons ravis de parler de musique et de littérature. Les échanges culturels nous enrichissent, nous vous ferons découvrir la région, la culture française si cela vous intéresse et nous nous réjouissons de découvrir la votre.
Il n'y aura pas beaucoup à apprendre en terme de tâches, mais nous espérons qu'elles n'en seront pas pour autant désagréables! -
Help
The main tasks consist of helping out with the upkeep of the house and garden (cutting wood, cleaning the garden and outdoor spaces, various household tasks).
Les tâches principales consistent à donner un coup de main pour l'entretien de la maison et du jardin (couper du bois, nettoyer le jardin et des espaces extérieurs, tâches ménagères diverses). -

Accommodation
The tasks to be performed will be everyday tasks, but the place where you will sleep will be magical! Independent accommodation with a large bedroom and a large terrace.
We will welcome you on the first evening with dinner so we can get to know each other. For meals during your stay with us, we will stock the fridge and cupboards for you!
Les tâches à réaliser seront des tâches du quotidien mais le lieu où vous dormirez sera magique! logement indépendant avec une grande chambre, une grande terrasse, & cuisine, sdb et wc.
Nous vous accueillerons le premier soir pour un diner et pour se rencontrer. Pour les repas durant votre séjour chez nous, nous remplirons le frigo / placards! -
What else ...
La Garde is a 10-minute bike ride (or 5-minute drive) from the beaches, the mountains are right behind it, and it's only an hour from Marseille and the Calanques. You can visit the French Riviera or the Var hinterland! P.S.: We have an (adorable) dog.
