Welcome to our warm family and permaculture farm in a beautiful and quiet natural scenery.

Do you like to stay in nature, live and play with children and want to contribute to life in a small community? The world is our children's classroom, we homeschool them by the principles of natural learning and social permaculture. They learn by playing, exploring and cooperating. Also we care for children with special needs. We are greatful for all the volunteers who have exchanged their culture with us the last years. It is a wonderful experience.

We would like to hear which creative or other passions you can exchange with the children (10 and 12 years). We are welcoming creative, sustainable Workawayers with an open and green heart. People who really enjoy to interact and exchange with children and bring in activities for the children. People with hands-on mentality, positive attitude and energy to join. It is nice if you play an instrument, but not necessary.

Average amount of work hours a day is 5 hours five days a week. We prefer a minimum stay of 2 weeks. We always use a one week trial period (which normally goes fine), also when we make appointments longer than this.

We have a severely chronically ill family member. This makes that our family is very busy, so you must be able to work and live independently.

We share meals one or sometimes more times a day (other times you are served meals at your tiny house) and like to share several activities like yoga and music making. The evenings we take our rest as a family, so you will spend these on your own. You sleep in a lovely small tinyhouse-like caravan. Or you can bring your own tent, tipi, yurt or van. You must like camping, nature, quietness and be able to be happy on your own. If you mention the word "chocolate pie" in your message to us, we know you have seriously read the profile.

You can cycle or walk around the beautiful countryside.

We ask for no smoking, no alcohol and no drugs please.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Our children are very willing to exchange (music, culture, yoga,...). We live a simple life in a quiet area in nature. We do our daily tasks and cherish the quietness around here. You will be able to see how our children are homeschooled by natural learning and you can feel part of a family community on a farm. Apart from the work with the children and outside, it may also be a nature retreat for you here.
