    Description

Hello my name is Sophie, I live in the County Galway countryside, less than 30 minutes from Galway City in the West of Ireland. I live in a bungalow with my two teenage boys aged 18 and 13. I am a teacher in a Further Education College but I am off work for three months of the summer. I am also a holistic life coach and yoga teacher. I love walking in many of the beautiful places along the Wild Atlantic Way coast and in Connemara. I sea swim and sauna throughout the year. My home is situated in beautiful Irish countryside, with fields and lanes for walking and a short drive to local villages and also Galway city.

I go on regular road trips over the summer months so you would be able to explore many parts of Ireland while on your stay. Happy to practice your English if needed. I am a good cook so would love to exchange different cultural food ideas! I paint as a hobby, and have a lot of art materials available for you to paint or draw or create while you are staying. I am a yoga teacher and life coach so I am happy to share those skills with you too.

I own a field and large garden that is a bit wild, I would like help doing some garden design & landscaping this summer 2026, creating some flower & herb beds, wild flower areas, pruning hedges and planting some new trees and shrubs. I would like to create some separate areas for outdoor seating, a fire pit, and storage spaces and I am open to design ideas!
