We are a family‑run Bed & Breakfast business in the Southern Lakes Area in Canada's Yukon, located in the rural idyll of the Yukon River Valley. This is a semi-remote location in the countryside, on private 160 acres but not too far from all the amenities the capital of the Yukon has to offer. Occasionally, we can watch the Yukon's wildlife right from our door steps.
Our guests stay in beautiful appointed Log Cabins and Chalets what are modern and lovingly designed and we offer Bed & Breakfast accommodations and Getaway – Specials in the Summer season and all-inclusive packages for Northern Lights Viewing & Outdoor Activities between September to April. We arrange customized activities & tours in summer and winter for our guests and offer SPA-Massage facilities for our guests. We welcome you to work with us and enjoy the warm summers with clear blue skies and 20 hours of sunshine or the magic Winter Wonderland and the spectacular views of the Northern Lights.

Because we welcome guests from all parts of the world, this is the place to learn about other countries and cultures and our regular staff/guides are very knowledgeable about the rich history of the Yukon and also its First Nation Culture.
We also offer you a salary of $15 CAD per hour and expect you to work on average 4-5 hours a day/5-6 days per week.
This host offers accommodation and payment.
Host has indicated that they will pay at least the minimum hourly wage of their country for each hour worked and that accommodation will also be provided. Any arrangements should be agreed in advance with your host.
Your hosts welcome you to work with us at our custom built B&B in the beautiful Yukon. We really like meeting people from other cultures and we also enjoy traveling ourselves. We will do our very best to ensure that your time with us is a most enjoyable one. Our B&B is small and very personal but you will meet people from all over the world and learn a lot about other cultures.
As soon as you are familiar with the Resort and procedures, you can help us set-up breakfast and and attend to the checkin and checkout procedures for guests. Mostly, you'll be helping with the cleaning in the morning through the main house and Chalets and ensure the all areas are clean and organized. We will also need sometimes help in the outdoor areas around the lodge and cabins for cleanup, lawn mowing, gardening or snow removal in the winter.
When you're done, you will have time to spend as much time as you can outdoors, we have bikes, snowshoes and miles of trails to explore. In the fall & winter time, you can help our guides setup our viewing site for the Aurora Borealis viewing at night. We will spend a lot of time training you and you can acquire useful skills in the hospitality industry and therefore we are looking for some enthusiastic people who are committed to stay with us at least 3 month or better even longer. We would be happy to have the right person stay with us the summer season season from early June to end of August and then again in the fall & winter season from September until April.
If you have no problems busy yourself during time off and doesn't mind to stick around while regular staff is tending to guests, and you don't mind being away from city life for a few month, you are the right person we're looking for.
You would need work clothes but we will provide heavy and warm winter gear if needed and you will need also some "nice" clothes when you are interacting with the guests.
We offer you accommodation and you will have your own room in the main lodge or a small cabin. The cabins have heating and electricity and internet access (limited) but no plumbing. We have staff washroom-shower facilities and also a staff kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
Please note that the Resort is about 25km from Whitehorse and there is no public transportation but there is always a chance to hop on one of our shuttles from/to town to explore the "Wilderness City" in your free time and to socialize with the locals. Whitehorse is small but very vibrant and offers a lot of cultural activities and events. Sport enthusiast have plenty of possibilities to be active outdoors and indoors.
