Hi everyone. I am Gonzalo, form Spain, living in Malaysia since 2010. My wife Katrina (Malaysian) and I are running a guesthouse beside the beach. Homely and chill vibe.

We are located in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi island. The local vibe here is huge. Locals are welcoming and chill. There are many things to do in the island too. Food is amazing and there is a nice cultural touch of the real Malaysia The island is big, even has an airport so it is easy to travel.
Help
We are looking for people with energy, good vibes and social skills. If you can help with stuff like cleaning, carrying things around, organising, helping with check ins and out and so on there is a spot for you. If you have handyman skills you are most welcome too. We are always doing projects to improve our space. We work with concrete, different variety of tools, wood, painting...

Accommodation
You will stay in the dorm. It is a 6/8 people dorm with attached bathroom, air conditioner and ceiling fan. We have a full equipped shared kitchen open 24 hours for our volunteers. We serve meals for all of us, owners and volunteers, sporadically when we can find a spot to do so.
What else ...
Travelling to Langkawi can be done easily by road and ferry. There is also an airport, flying from Kuala Lumpur takes only one hour. The island is full of long white sandy beaches, mountains, mangroves... nature is amazing in here. There is life music every night in the beach and all sort of tours to enjoy or do by yourself. Renting a bike an going around the island is a must.
