Description
Hi, I’m Archie.
I’m currently travelling around South East Asia and looking for my next adventure. I’m 27 and keen to get stuck into something new.
I have a background in environmental consultancy, where I worked with companies to help them become more transparent and sustainable.
I grew up on a horse stud farm, so I’ve always had a strong connection to animals and nature. I’m very comfortable working with animals (I even had my own pet goat!), and I’ve had some hands-on experience with permaculture and regenerative agriculture. I can also jump on a tractor when needed! I’m really keen to keep learning more about animal husbandry, ecology, conservation, and sustainable agriculture, with the long-term aim of moving into this field.
I’ve previously completed several Workaway experiences across Europe, including in Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Denmark, and really enjoyed being part of different projects and communities.
I love meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and helping out wherever I can. I’m reliable, open-minded, and enthusiastic, and I’m really looking forward to finding my next Workaway adventure! -

The dogs are absolutely lovely and are the highlight of the sanctuary. That said, it’s important to be cautious, I was bitten by one of the dogs (Coco), so following guidance when interacting with them is essential.
