 - Description- I am a Waldorf teacher for Natural sciences, and my wife Dorit is a NIA instructor and an art therapist. We live in Shekhanya - a quiet village in the Galilee, north of Israel. We have a garden of fruit trees, an apiary (5 beehives), herb garden, and an apartment for rent. We are 65 (born 1959), with 3 daughters in the city, and we need help in cleaning, harvesting, pruning, and gardening. We love guests and we love talking and sharing our knowledge: I have a PhD in the history of science and Dorit has lots of dancing groups. 
 Guests will help in cleaning, maintenance, gardening and whatever is needed around the house. Some physical work in needed, but no need for a special skill or pre-knowledge.

 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- We are situated in the middle of the Galilee, between Nazareth and Acre, Zefat and Haifa, inside a beautiful forest and natural bush, and you can have a lot of tours in the Holly land with our help (I am a tour guide). Work will be 4 hours a day, with long free weekends, so you have plenty of time for yourself, for travelling, meeting people or studying.

 You could be learning Hebrew, gardening (my B.A. degree is in agriculture), beekeeping, and to be self sufficient handyman. We have a biogas composter, a roof covered with PV panels, an electric car and water sciences.
 - Accommodation- We have a second story apartment with 3 rooms, a kitchen and lavatory, and a veranda with grapevine. You could stay there, unless we have paying guests, and then you can have a mattress bed in the studio downstairs. You could have meals by yourself upstairs, or happily join our cooking and preparing our food downstairs with us. 
 - What else ...- You could be travelling in the afternoons, long weekends (Friday and Saturday) and holidays, and Shekhanya is a good basis to see the north of Israel: Acre, Zefat, Metula and Hermon.
