Description
I’m based in Edmonton, Alberta, and I’m looking for a dependable, respectful person who would be comfortable helping with the day-to-day care of my home and small dog while I’m away. I live in a quiet residential area with convenient access to public transit and everyday amenities.
I value reliability, cleanliness, good communication, and a calm home environment. My dog is a friendly, easy-going Yorkie mix who enjoys companionship, regular walks, and a consistent routine. The arrangement would suit someone who enjoys animals, is comfortable helping around the home, and appreciates a peaceful place to stay while spending time in Edmonton. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Staying with us offers the chance to experience everyday life in Edmonton and get to know the city from a local perspective. There are plenty of parks, walking trails, neighbourhoods, cafés, and cultural attractions to explore during your free time.
We enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and exchanging stories, experiences, traditions, and perspectives. You’ll have the opportunity to experience a relaxed Canadian home environment while also having plenty of independence to explore Edmonton and make the most of your stay. -
Help
I’m looking for help primarily with caring for my small dog and keeping the home running smoothly while I’m away.
The main responsibilities would include feeding her, providing fresh water, taking her for regular walks, giving her companionship, and keeping to her normal routine. I’d also appreciate help with light household tasks such as keeping the kitchen and bathrooms tidy, doing occasional laundry, light cleaning, collecting mail or packages, and making sure the home stays secure and well looked after.
The arrangement would be best suited to someone who is dependable, comfortable around dogs, respectful of the home, and happy to spend a good amount of time there rather than treating it as a quick drop-in visit. -

Lulu (4 years)
A sweet, affectionate 4-year-old Yorkie mix who loves companionship and gentle walks. She is healthy, well behaved, house-trained, and enjoys a calm, consistent routine. She can be a little reserved at first with someone new, but usually settles in quickly with patience and attention. She especially enjoys being close to people and feeling included in everyday activities.
