    Description

    Hi, Emily & Mike here,

We run a private chalet in Japan and are so excited to get hiring for this winter (2026-2027)!.

The concept is simple. A ski chalet tucked away in the mountains that provides our guests everything they need for the ultimate private ski holiday. Comfort. Service. Media room. Hot tub. Located on-resort in Japanese powder. All of this is provided by real people that know how to have fun & work together as a team.

    POSITION AVAILABLE - OPERATIONS CREW
    *****************************************************************************
Spend your winter in one of Japan's snowiest ski resorts, working alongside a tight-knit team in a beautiful exclusive-use chalet.

Working here is different from a traditional hotel or ski lodge. Our exclusive-use chalet has one group that books the entire property at a time. Which means:

    • No daily housekeeping.
    • No daily breakfast service.
    • No daily check-ins or checkouts.

All of which creates more opportunities to make the most of your time on the mountain.

You'll help prepare the chalet for each new group, with the team coming together for chalet changeovers. On the days between changeovers, you will support the day-to-day running of the property behind the scenes. You can expect 1-2 changeovers per week.

Every booking is different, so responsibilities naturally vary depending on snowfall and the guests’ booking package. So flexibility is important.

The best part? Most day-to-day jobs have flexibility to help you maximise your ski time.

So, if you’d like to spend your winter working in the deepest snow with a tight-knit team, we’d love to hear from you!

    *****************************************************************************
    WHY WORK HERE?
    *****************************************************************************

    + Work Somewhere Different:
Here you'll experience a different style of hospitality. The self-contained nature of the chalet means many day-to-day tasks can be planned flexibly, creating opportunities to make the most of the mountains!

Many ski season jobs are based in busy hotels, restaurants and ski shops, where you can spend more time looking at the mountains than riding on them!

Here we aim to be different from that.

    • One day you might be preparing the chalet for a new group of guests and supporting guest arrivals/departures during the chalet changeover day.

    • Another day might start with clearing fresh snow, and re-clearing it again later that evening if the snowfall is heavy.

    • A different day might involve restocking linen and lighting the fire before guests return from the slopes or helping wash dishes during private catering.

    • You could be doing a grocery shop for guests to stock the chalet ahead of their check in.

All of these jobs are shared amongst the team, giving you the maximum level of flexibility to get out on the mountain.

+ Learn More Than One Role:
From housekeeping and guest support to driving, snow clearing and general chalet operations, you'll develop a wide range of practical skills throughout the season. This keeps the job interesting!

When guests arrive, they're walking into a chalet that the team has prepared from top to bottom. From clearing fresh snow and lighting the fire to stocking the fridge and making every bed, you'll know you've played a part in creating the start of an incredible holiday.
