    Description

We have three kids and a grandchild between us. We own an acreage that has a pond, creek, old growth trees, specimen trees throughout... there's wildlife : bob cats, bears, deer and a multitude of birds.

    Daily Life & Cultural Exchange

We enjoy spending time with our Workawayers—whether it’s working on a project together, sharing meals, or exploring the local area. If you’re interested, we’d love to teach you how to cook Canadian and Persian dishes and learn about your favorite foods too!

We value meaningful conversations, laughter, and the exchange of ideas. If you’re looking to experience hands-on learning in a welcoming and interactive environment, we’d love to host you!

Let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll find ways to make the experience enriching for everyone.

    Cultural Exchange & Learning Opportunities

We love meeting new people and sharing skills! I have experience in forestry, electrical work, renovation, and hardscaping, and I now run my own investigative business. If you’re interested in hands-on learning, I’m happy to share what I know. We also enjoy exchanging ideas, learning from our guests, and working together on various projects.
