Description
For winter 2027, I am looking for someone to support my children with their homeschooling projects. You don't need to be a science whiz or a teacher... I’m looking for a curious, creative, and enthusiastic Workawayer to guide my children through their projects. They are two easy-going boys, aged 12 and 15, who have never attended traditional school!
Specifically, every year in January and February, they devote a lot of time to developing a project for a science fair (*expo-sciences*); your role will be to help them with their research, assist with writing their report, and design the display stand to showcase their work at the event—which brings together teenagers from across the region—scheduled for March 2027.
You will also have the opportunity to engage in various projects, sports, and activities with them while I am away working at the ski station or maintaining the municipal ice rink. I need someone available in late January and in February.
I have two other sons, aged 17 and 19, who live in college residences but often come home for the weekend. We live in a small village in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, Canada.

Vous n’avez pas besoin d'être un génie des science ou un enseignant ... je cherche un workawayer curieux, créatif et enthousiasme de guider mes enfants dans leurs projets. Ce sont deux garçons easy-going de 12 ans et 15 ans qui ne sont jamais allés à l’école !
Plus spécifiquement, chaque année, en janvier-février, ils consacrent beaucoup de temps à l'élaboration d'un projet pour une exposition scientifique (expo-sciences) ; votre rôle consistera à les aider dans leurs recherches, à les assister dans la rédaction de leur rapport et à concevoir le stand destiné à présenter leur travail lors de l'événement — qui réunira d'autres adolescents de toute la région— prévu pour mars 2027.
Ca sera aussi possible de faire des projets, des sports et des activités variés avec eux pendant que je vais travailler à la station de ski et à l’entretiende la patinoire municipale. J’ai besoin d'une personne disponible à la fin janvier et en février
J’ai deux autres fils, 17 ans et 19 ans, qui habitent aux residences du collègeet qui viennent souvent passer le week-end à la maison. Nous habitons dans un petit village dans la région du Bas-Saint-Laurent au Québec, Canada. -

I am currently looking for someone to support my 12- and 15-year-old children with their homeschooling projects, espscialy for the science fair.
You could share your passions, talents, culture, or language (we are French speakers, and my children want to improve their English). You might work on art projects, teach music, or go on small outings with my children or others from our homeschooling community. You could teach coding or music, or help out with household chores (cooking, folding laundry, etc.). There are also opportunities for general maintenance, gardening, painting, or projects within our homeschooling community. Or, you could simply share in our daily life and look after the children—going skiing, snowshoeing, hiking in the woods, sledding, or participating in forest school activities.
In short, the goal is to create new and meaningful experiences for our children.
Families are welcome.

Présentement, je chercher une personne pour venir accompagné mes enfants de 12ans et 15 ans dans leurs projets d’école à la maison, et plus spécifiquement pour l’expo-sciences.
Vous pouvez venir partager vos passions, vos talents, votre culture, votre langue (Nous sommes francophones et mes enfants ont besoin d'améliorer leur anglais), votre nourriture. Faire des projets des arts ou enseigner la musique. Partir en petites expéditions avec mes enfants ou ceux de ma communauté d’école à la maison. Enseigner le coding ou la musique à mes enfants. Vous pouvez aussi donner un coup de main dans les tâches de la maison (cuisiner, plier le linge…) Il est également possible de faire d’autres types d’aide chez moi (entretien général, jardinage, peinture, etc.) et projet dans ma communauté d’école à la maison. Ou simplement venir vivre le quotidien avec nous et prendre en charge les enfants. Allez en ski, en raquette, randonnéeen forêt, glissade, forestshool…
Bref créer des expériences nouvelles et significatives pour nos enfants.

Accommodation
One of my son give his bedroom (a semi-enclosed room). It is also possible to set up a tent on our land. We eat everything, we often eat vegetarian and we don’t eat so much gluten because I have a problem with this proteins. Our meals are taken with family
Nous prêtons le chambre (espace semi-fermé) d’un de nos fils. C’est aussi possible de monter une tente sur notre terrain. Nous mangeons de tout, et c’est souvent végétarien. Souvent sans gluten aussi puisque je ne digère pas cette protéine. Nos repas se prennent en famille -
What else ...
You can discover the nature of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, the city of Rimouski and sail sailing on the St. Lawrence River. Go walking in the Bic National Park or in the Gaspésie National Park. Go to visit the city of Rimouski, its public market and the festivities such as the Great Feasts of the St. Lawrence.
Enjoy outdoor activities in both summer and winter: sailing, camping, hiking... In winter: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, building a snow castle.

Vous pourrez découvrir la nature de la région du Bas-Saint-Laurent, la ville de Rimouski et naviguer avec notre famille en voilier sur le fleuve Saint-Laurent. Aller faire du plein air dans le Parc national du Bic ou dans le Parc national de la Gaspésie. Aller à visiter la ville de Rimouski, son marché public et les festivités comme les Grandes Fêtes du St-Laurent.
Faire des du plein air été comme hiver: équitation, camping, randonnée... En hiver: faire du ski, de la planche à neige, de la raquette, du patin, construire un château en neige. -
