Description
Nestled in the picturesque Zailiysky Alatau mountains of Kazakhstan, the eco-farm is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,100 meters above sea level, surrounded by fresh mountain air, coniferous forests, and panoramic views.
On warm summer days, there is crisp mountain air and picturesque scenery.
The large main house and the summer guest house can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people at a time. The owner and several eco-farm staff members live and work here year-round; additionally, many relatives and friends frequently visit for the harvest festivals celebrating various berries, fruits, and vegetables.
We have everything in one place: a large garden, cozy rooms, delicious cuisine, and spaces for both relaxation and farming works. -

Help
We invite everyone interested in permaculture activities.
At our eco-farm, growers cultivate organic crops without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or GMOs. Workers carry out the full cycle of field and greenhouse operations—from soil preparation and manual harvesting to the production of natural, artisanal sauces, juices, fruit compotes, jams, and much more.
All tasks performed by staff at the eco-farm are aimed at treating nature with care and encompass several key areas:
- Soil preparation and planting. Soil enrichment: adding compost, vermicompost, and green manure (fertilizer plants) instead of chemicals.
- Sowing and planting: careful manual planting of seeds and seedlings in open ground.
- Watering: Install and monitor drip irrigation to conserve water.
-Plant Care: Weeding, pruning and loosening, remove weeds and regularly loosen the soil to allow oxygen to reach the roots.
- Natural protection: Use natural repellents (such as herbal infusions) and attract beneficial insects to control pests.
- Harvesting and processing: Careful manual or combined harvesting of ripe fruits and greens.
- Sorting and storage: selecting the best fruits and storage.
- Processing: jams, dried vegetables, juices, and other natural preserves.
- Maintaining the farm ecosystem.
- Composting: collecting plant residues, manure, and food scraps to produce fertilizer.
- Crop rotation: rotating crops in the beds to prevent soil depletion.
We have recently started a new project next door to the established eco-farm and will involve tasks such as renovations of the house, preparing the land for farming and developing the property for the next stage of the permaculture farm. -
