    Description

We are a family of four; Nicolas, Cathrine, Olivia (2,5y) and Alfred (6 months). Nicolas is selfemployed, Cathrine is on maternity leave with Alfred and Olivia goes to day care. In Dec 2024 we bought our house in Dragør and ever since we have renovated it little by little to make it our own. We love to spend time together as a family either playing with our kids at home or exploring new playgrounds, zoo, aquarium or finding animals in our area to go see.
We also have a big family that we are very close to and there is often a birthday or a get together with them too.

Dragør is a gorgeous little town only 12 km outside of Copenhagen. It has a cute walking street with little cafes and shops, a beautiful harbour and an amazing waterfront / beach view. Even though it is close to the busy metropol Copenhagen , it has a calm vibe with lots of local initiatives, nature and kind people.

With a big family we often have gatherings for birthdays and other occasions, also, especially during the weekend we try to get out and do stuff with our kids. Furthermore, we live close to Copenhagen where there is always something happening.
We hope to learn about different cultures as well as language for Olivia. Olivia’s has very advanced language skills already but we hope to start teaching her some more English from having workaways live with us.

In your free time we suggest to either explore the beautiful surroundings of Dragør, go for walks along the water, by the habour, in the old town of Dragør which is very famous or go to the little cafes and shops.
Otherwise, there is a bus just outside our house which goes directly to the airport (takes about 15 min) from where you can take the metro into Copenhagen (takes about 15-20 min). In Copenhagen there are lots of museums, great restaurants, parks, shops etc.

  • Help

    Help

At the moment our main need is help with the general household when having two young kids to free up our time so we can spend it with them making memories.
Hence, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, emptying dishwasher, laundry, tidying etc. we always try to find ways to optimise all these tasks with food week plans or grocery shopping online, but we haven’t yet found a way to really be efficient all the time and therefore, we need the help.

Depending on the time and our current house renovation situation there may also be some simple tasks such as painting, assembling new furniture, gardening etc.
