Description
Hi! We are an international education center located in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai.
We organize children’s programs, outdoor adventures, weekend camps, holiday camps, and daily learning activities for local Thai and Chinese children. As our programs continue to grow, we are looking for friendly, energetic volunteers to join our team.
What We Need Help With
Activities vary depending on the program, but may include:
* Speaking English with children
* Helping with Oral English classes
* Leading fun games and group activities
* Arts and crafts sessions
* Cooking and baking activities
* Weekend outdoor camps and nature trips
* Supporting special events and holiday camps
Most children are Thai and Chinese, so volunteers help create a fun English-speaking environment.
Volunteer Commitment
* Approximately 15 flexible hours per week
* Most activities take place on weekends and selected weekdays
* Volunteers usually have at least 3 full days each week to explore Chiang Mai
Accommodation
* Shared dormitory-style room (3–4 volunteers per room)
* Air conditioning and hot water provided
* Bunk-bed accommodation similar to a youth hostel
* Shared kitchen and refrigerator available
Volunteers are expected to help keep common areas clean, including the dormitory, bathroom, and kitchen.
Food
Meals are not provided.
Supermarkets, local markets, cafés, and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away. Volunteers are welcome to use the shared kitchen to prepare their own meals.
We occasionally organize international dinners together.
Transportation
Our campus is located in Hang Dong, approximately 12 km from Chiang Mai city center.
Volunteers can reach us by:
* Grab
* Bolt
* Yellow Songthaew (local shared taxi)
Please note that we do not provide airport pickup or daily transportation.
House Rules
* No smoking on school property
* Dress appropriately when working with children
* Please help conserve electricity by turning off lights, fans, and air conditioning when not in use
* Keep shared areas clean and tidy
* Respect gas safety when using the kitchen
Who We Are Looking For
We would love to welcome volunteers who are:
* Friendly and positive
* Comfortable working with children
* Responsible and flexible
* Interested in education, outdoor activities, and cultural exchange
* Able to communicate in English
No formal teaching experience is required. Enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to help are much more important.
We look forward to meeting you in Chiang Mai!
