Self-Introduction

I’m someone who acts on what I want to do. Although I’m relatively introverted, I truly enjoy connecting with people who share similar values or interests.

I don’t have many friends, but recently, through Couchsurfing, some new friends have described me as: gentle, soft-spoken, polite, clean, honest, flexible, kind, warm, friendly, respectful, positive, and full of good energy.

Looking back at their comments, I feel deeply honored. Thank you for seeing these qualities in me. I hope to continue staying true to my principles in how I treat people and approach life.

The reason I want to travel abroad now stems from a recurring thought: If I were to die tomorrow, my biggest regret would be not having seen or experienced enough of the world. Since what I want most right now is to experience the world, I should do everything within my ability to explore and feel it.

I was born in Shenzhen, China, and I’m of Guangdong origin—my hometown is Maoming. I feel lucky to have grown up in a big city like Shenzhen. Although I’m not very familiar with Maoming, I love Cantonese cuisine and warmly welcome anyone to try it if you have the chance.

I truly believe that if someone can discover their life purpose early and spend most of their life working toward it, that person is both lucky and happy.

Although I’m still not sure what my life purpose is, I know that right now I want to experience and observe the world as much as possible—so I’m going for it.

My hobbies and ways to relax include: riding motorcycles, sleeping, enjoying good food, and watching my favorite videos.

This will be my first Workaway experience. Recently, in 2025, I completed a long motorcycle journey of nearly 15,000 kilometers. I started from Shenzhen, Guangdong, rode through one of the world’s top motorcycle routes—from Lhasa to Kashgar—and finally ended my trip in Chongqing. Along the way, I also had two Couchsurfing experiences, both of which gave me valuable memories.

So, after reading my introduction, I truly hope I can come to different countries through Workaway, deepen my experience of the world, and learn more through meaningful exchanges.

Professional Design Background

My undergraduate major was Environmental Design, with a curriculum focusing on interior design, landscape design, and architectural design.

After graduation, I worked in landscape design, primarily on municipal landscaping projects.

Diverse Full-Time Work Experience

In addition to my design career, I have held various full-time positions including security guard, advertising sales representative for the catering industry, and food delivery rider.

These roles have equipped me with strong resilience, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Versatile Part-Time Experience

During university, I worked as a part-time teacher, stage actor, and classroom assistant at an English training institution.

These experiences have enhanced my public speaking skills, creativity, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
