We are a family of 5. (Jay-sen, Kim, 10yo son Felix, 4 yo Leroy and 3yo Sylvesta. We are always looking for helpers on our beautiful rainforest property. Tasks include housework, gardening, forest regeneration, and general farm duties like feeding the chooks, duck and aquaculture, collecting eggs and picking fruit and vegetables. We can offer the 88 days or the second year visa in special circumstances.
Your accommodation: The cottage has high ceilings with fans, ocean views, has own bathroom and kitchen, and sleeps 3-4 people although we can manage up to 6. Your living space has its own private garden and fire pit. The waterfall flows between the cottage and the main house, with a little bridge to cross over. There is also a large swimming pool and tennis court where you can relax after a days work. Beautiful bird calls will awake you in the morning, and you may even get a visit from little furry wallabies and echidnas.
We would really like volunteers for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020.
We look forward to working together soon. Kim and Jay-sen :)

The small piece of forest we are custodians for is nationally recognised and protected. It is a wonder to experience, explore and care for. Jay-sen and Kim were long term international travelers before settling down and have a multitude of experiences to share. Jay-sen is a scientist, teacher, scuba diver instructor and first aid trainer who enjoys cooking, gardening, surfing, snowboarding and being a new dad. Kim is a dentist, D.J. and an artist who enjoys creative distractions from operating her dental practices and being a pregnant mum. All of our professional skills and personal interests are available to talk about learn from and even qualify yourself. Days off may involve trips around the northern rivers Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Lennox, Bangalow and Nimbin. Surfing and diving trips are always possible and outdoor adventure is on your doorstep. A truly multicultural Australian experience awaits the gourmet in you.
