Description
Greetings from one of the largest international independent summer camp venture in Kuala Lumpur! Since 2007 the company’s education department organizes Summer Camps. During 18 years we have gained massive experience in conducting summer camps for International students. Our camps became popular and the number of participants increasing year by year. For 2019, we had over 200 participants from 11 different countries. We are inviting English tutors to help our campers to learn English.

While working under Farrukh and Polina, I encountered several significant challenges that made the experience frustrating and unprofessional.

1. **Disrespectful and Unfair Behavior**: Farrukh yelled at me in the café, at dinner. This behavior was both unprofessional and unnecessary. The cashier, embarrassed by his treatment of me, reassured me… read more that I could eat dinner there, highlighting how inappropriate the situation was.

2. **Food Issues**: On my first day, no meals were provided for me. When I inquired, I was told to purchase my own food because, unlike others. Even after this, meals were inconsistent—I often had to rely on fruit, salad, and cake for lunch and dinner.

3. **Room Assignment Chaos**: Room reassignments were poorly handled. I was initially placed with someone who openly disliked me, then asked to move to a room with a child, and finally back to my original roommate, with a downgrade in accommodations. These changes were made without notice, adding to the frustration.

4. **Resource Disorganization**: I was promised that projectors would be available at the new location. However, upon arrival, I was informed that there were none. When I suggested asking the front desk for spare TVs, only one was provided, and it was taken by another teacher, even though it was my idea and I had the youngest group. Their justification was that I had already printed assignments for my kids, which felt petty and unfair.

5. **Coworker Drama and Idea Theft**: Some coworkers tried to take credit for my work or steal my ideas. One even brought up how I had printed $30 worth of assignments for the next week, seemingly to undermine me. This criticism was unfounded since Polina’s printer wasn’t working at the hotel, and I prioritized being prepared, unlike others who were clearly less organized.

6. **Positive Notes**: Some of the other workers were kind, though I mostly kept to myself due to earlier drama. The children I worked with were fantastic—bright, enthusiastic, and a joy to teach. The provided laptop was very useful, and the first hotel had adequate resources for teaching.

**Constructive Feedback**
- **Respect and Professionalism**: Farrukh and Polina must foster a respectful work environment. Yelling at staff and dismissing valid concerns damages morale.
- **Consistency in Support**: Ensure meals and accommodations are provided fairly and consistently for all staff members.
- **Resource Management**: Deliver on promises regarding teaching tools and avoid favoritism when distributing shared resources like TVs.
- **Recognition of Efforts**: Acknowledge employees’ hard work instead of allowing others to take credit or undermine them.

**Conclusion**
The experience was marred by unprofessionalism, disorganization, and favoritism. Despite this, I appreciated the opportunity to work with incredible students and the supportive environment created by some coworkers. Farrukh and Polina could greatly improve the work environment by addressing these issues.

Side note: Dian the lady from Russian was kind and supportive.
