    Description

Welcome to A Living Sanctuary for Regeneration

On a island on the Nile, right next to the Temple of Isis we are creating a regenerative project and restore the old heritage of this temple land. We are working on building up the old houses and making the island green and lush again.
The vision is to feed the whole village (over 100 people) out of our garden.
So a massive part of the land will be land for permaculture and fruit trees.
Moreover we plan to plant more than 5000 trees in the near future.

You as a volunteer have the opportunity to live on this sacred land and work hand in hand on these projects. You will have the change to connect to the stunning surrounding Nature. Huge granite Rocks surrounded by fresh water of the Nile river.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are in Nubia, this is the beginning of Africa. You have the opportunity to connect with the lovely locals which are running their lives mostly in tribal ways and laws. You can learn arabic, or the old Nubian language. Moreover if you like we can teach you how to cook local dishes.
If your interested you can learn how to take care of our 2 donkeys and 8 goats and sheeps.
Moreover if you feel called to you can give our builder of the houses a hand to learn their method of building the homes.
