    Description

    We are an acitve older couple enjoying our charming house and garden in Waihi. The beautiful Waihi surf beach is a 12 minute drive and we are close to the Karangahake Gorge, Whangamata, The Hauraki Rail Trail for cyclists and bush walks. We are one hour from Mt Maunganui and Tauranga. We are wanting some help with the property, e.g. weeding, pruning and painting etc. We have 2 spare rooms and beds. Kate is a healing practitioner and Terry is hands on and tells a good yarn.

    We are involved in the community and can introduce guests to local events.. Kate is aware of alternative health and healing events. Travellers would benefit from experiencing life in a small kiwi town within reach of many beautiful natural attractions including the historic town of Thames. There is no public transport unfortunately. Bike hire is available in Waihi. Own transport necessary.

    One double bedroom and one small single (with a very comfortable bed). Bathroom is shared.
    Kate will organise and cook food although help with this might be an option if you want. We are fairly health conscious eaters. Not really into meat although have chicken and fish. We can be flexible though. Non smokers.
