    Description

We are a small non profit organic-farm and sustainable community on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. We have a lot to offer as far as cultural exchange and sharing our Offgrid sustainable lifestyle. We are a family of 5 with children ranging from 1-15 years old, we have one permanent work trade community member and 4 other community residents that help in various capacities around the farm. Our focus is on education in organic farming with sustainable practices. We specialize in Hawaiian tropical fruit.
Our farm is located 25 minutes from Haleiwa , pressed into the majestic mountainous of Mt. Kaala in Mokuleia. We are a mile and half across from the beach.
We love gathering for group dinners, full moon drum circle fires, small farm concerts, and group beach trips. We are family oriented and love showing new members of our community why we love our simple life close to nature and the best parts of our beautiful island. Living in such a culturally rich and unique location such as Hawaii, allows for constant hands on learning : about the history , the people, and the multiple Asian cultures that blend to make Hawaii what it is today. There is an additional subculture of small organic farms out here as well.

    Accommodation

We have a bus with tent and camper with bed. Comfortable but rustic camping accommodations: outdoor hot shower, biogas compostable toilet, outdoor covered kitchen space. We can accommodate 2 people or 1 couple plus 1 person.
The farm offers available produce which can be Kalo, cassava, bananas, papayas, greens, or other seasonal vegetables/fruit. Rice, dried beans and oats.
You are responsible for preparing your meals aside from the weekly group dinner that we cook together. We love to learn new recipes and share cultural foods from around the world! We welcome your input and favorite family dishes! We always try to make the dinner from something grown from the land.
You may have enough with just farm produce and staples, but be prepared to buy any additional food items that you prefer to make yourself more comfortable.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Goodvibes only. We ask for positive attitude and showing up on time for work. We have a no alcohol or substance policy. These are our expectations: show up for work on time with a positive attitude, ready to do whatever the task is for the day, sober and helpful. Clean up after yourself and be accountable for your actions.
We are a family farm with young children as well as young adults that love to have fun, gather, and connect, but seek a higher vibration in doing so. If it is not a good fit, and our policies are not able to be abided by, we kindly ask people to make other arrangements.
