I spent a week at Iwona's house and taught English to some of her students at the school and private students, and it was a really enjoyable experience. Most of the students are willing to learn, and they have varying levels of English. I also enjoyed the conversations I had with Iwona, her son Wojtek and also her older children who were at home

I spent almost 2 weeks with Iwona and her family, and I'd say it was an absolutely incredible experience. They showed me great Polish hospitality, and I was given the opportunity to volunteer at Iwona's school as an English tutor. Her students were very intelligent and adorable. Stasiek was a little shy, but he managed to help me out as an Polish
… read more interpreter while I was teaching English. We got along very well! Besides teaching, I joined Stasiek's athletic lesson and we had a very fun basketball game together with his coach and other kids :) Iwona also took me to a family birthday party were I tasted amazing Polish cuisine. It was such an unforgettable stay and I would recommend this host to anyone who's interested in visiting Poland!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
