    Description

This is an experimental space and permaculture demonstration center with the vision of becoming a self-sustaining community. We're still in the early stages, working hands-on and building our very first infrastructures to bring this dream to life.

We are located in Oxpantla, right in the heart of the misty forests of Hidalgo. What I love most about this place is the deep peace and the raw, untouched connection to nature. I know you will absolutely love it here too—you’ll get to wake up to the sound of birds, hike to nearby waterfalls, swim in clear rivers, and explore the endless forest around us. It’s the perfect getaway if you are looking to unplug from the fast-paced world and reconnect with the earth.

During your stay, you’ll be sharing day-to-day life with us: Ada and Ramses. I’m Ada, passionate about permaculture, regenerative design, and community building; I love working with the earth and sharing our lifestyle. Alongside me is Ramses, an architect and natural builder, the creative mind behind our eco-structures. He is always eager to get his hands dirty and teach different building techniques using natural materials like wood and clay. We are a small but wholehearted team, and we can't wait to open the doors of our home to learn, build, and share with travelers from all over the world!

For us, sharing a meal is the most important part of the day. We enjoy communal meals where we share stories and laughter. We love ending the day with a chat under the stars, a bonfire, or simply enjoying the peaceful silence of nature. We also like to integrate volunteers into our local community, whether by visiting nearby markets or attending local events, so you can experience an authentic taste of rural life.

We are happy to share everything we know about:
Natural Building: You will learn practical techniques for building with wood and mud (cob/wattle and daub).
Permaculture: We will show you how we apply its principles to design an efficient and respectful living space.
Vegan Cooking: If you're interested in conscious eating, we can exchange recipes and tips for delicious plant-based cooking.
Sustainable Living: We’ll share the challenges and joys of living independently and in harmony with natural cycles.

Hosting people from all over the world is our window to the world. We are excited to learn about your culture, your language, and your worldview. We are always open to new ideas: if you have a special skill (like yoga, music, woodworking, or just a family recipe), we would love to learn from you!
We look forward to being inspired by your energy and the stories you bring in your backpack.
