    Description

I am Ricardo owner and host of the house is located on one hectare in the heart of the Jungle Maya. We have 2 cenotes that require constant maintenance, including removing leaves and cutting trees, and other vegetation to avoid water contamination.

Puerto Morelos is a growing tourist destination, known for its natural beauty and rich biodiversity. One of the most popular attractions is the Puerto Morelos National Reef Park, a protected area that houses a wide variety of marine species and offers opportunities for snorkeling and diving. Some interesting facts about tourism in Puerto Morelos: - Coral Reef: The reef of Puerto Morelos is one of the best preserved in the Riviera Maya. - Water activities: You can go snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and paddleboarding in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. - Beaches: Puerto Morelos has beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise waters, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun.

We will provide ingredients and a basic pantry for Workawayers to cook for themselves.
The beaches are close but not within walking distance; you can get to Puerto Morelos port by car in 20 minutes.
The Workaway will learn how to kayak in a Mayan canoe, dance salsa, and get to know the different types of cenotes.
I will meet in the mornings with the volunteers to review daily objectives, issues, obstacles, safety requirements, and questions and answers. These questions are fundamental and add much value to the project.
My wish is to make them feel at home and have them refer my project to more volunteers.

For the Wood Oven project, the requirements include basic knowledge of construction, working with cement, concrete, bricks, and construction tools.
Additionally, keep jungle vegetation under control, plant trees and flowers, prepare planting areas, feed plants, trees, and flowers, and assist with weeding.
    Note.
The Workawayer will be performing outdoor activities in the jungle; therefore, the volunteer must be aware that it is also home to insects, ants, mosquitoes, tarantulas, snakes, jaguars, and other animals.
