  Description

  We are a small shelter for dogs and cats in Santa Teresa Gallura, we believe in the harmonious coexistence between humans and animals, in full respect of animal needs and otherness. Our guests live in small groups that we carefully create and have large green spaces for walking at their disposal. We are 4 well-trained volunteers in the dog field, dog educators and instructors, assistants for dogs, cats and rabbits in the IAA and veterinary assistant, we speak English and we are always ready to share moments of conviviality😁
  
  Siamo un piccolo rifugio per cani e gatti a Santa Teresa Gallura, crediamo nella convivenza armoniosa tra esseri umani e animali, nel pieno rispetto dei bisogni e dell ’alterità animale. I nostri ospiti vivono in piccoli gruppi che creiamo con attenzione e hanno ampi spazi verdi di sgambatura a disposizione.
  Siamo 4 volontarie ben formate nell’ ambito cinofilo, educatrici e istruttrici cinofile, coadiutrici del cane, gatto e coniglio in IAA e assistente veterinario, parliamo inglese e siamo sempre pronte a condividere momenti di convivialità😁

  You can learn a lot about the correct approach to animals and their behavior, on various veterinary aspects especially in the management of chronic diseases. In addition to being a very pretty town, Santa Teresa is an excellent base for exploring all of northern Gallura, ranging from the surf of Porto Pollo to the liveliness of rena Majore to the Limbara mountains in Tempio Pausania, to the countryside with the typical Gallura stazzi and the their tranquility ... in the summer season people from all over the world meet but even in August you can find a quiet place to enjoy the beauty of these places.
  
  Si può imparare molto sul corretto approccio agli animali e sul loro comportamento, su vari aspetti veterinari sopratutto nella gestione delle malattie croniche.
  Santa Teresa oltre ad essere un paese molto grazioso è un ottimo punto di appoggio per esplorare tutto il nord Gallura, spaziando dal surf di Porto Pollo alla vivacità di rena Majore ai monti del Limbara a Tempio Pausania, alle campagne con i tipici stazzi galluresi e la loro tranquillità… nella stagione estiva si incontrano persone di tutto il mondo ma anche a ferragosto si può trovare un posticino tranquillo per godere della bellezza di questi luoghi.

  Help

  We need a hand with the cleaning of our living spaces, so we are looking for people who are completely comfortable with dogs and cats, without fear of relating to them. People also available for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance work: cutting grass, repairing fences, painting houses for dogs and cats, small carpentry tasks, etc., the more skills you have, the more precious you are! We offer accommodation in a mobilhouse inside the refuge with its own garden, bathroom and kitchenette, but we are not able to provide food so we ask 15 hours/ week.
  Preferable workawayers without pets, otherwise to be evaluated. It is preferable to have a car as we are outside the city and there are no public transport stops nearby. The sea is enchanting 😁
  * WE HOST ONLY VOLUNTEERS TRAVELING WITH OWN CAR/ MOTORBIKE/BIKE, ESPECIALLY FROM MAY TO OCTOBER*

  Abbiamo bisogno di una mano con le pulizie degli spazi abitativi dei nostri ospiti, quindi cerchiamo persone completamente a proprio agio con cani e gatti, senza paura di relazionarsi con loro.
  Persone disponibili anche a lavori di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria: taglio erba, riparazione recinti, pittura delle casette dei cani e dei gatti, piccoli lavori di falegnameria etc, più abilità si posseggono e più si è preziosi!
  Offriamo l’alloggio in mobilhouse all’ interno del rifugio con proprio giardino ,bagno e angolo cottura, non siamo però in grado di fornire il vitto quindi chiediamo 15 ore settimanali.
  Ospitiamo solo workawayers senza animali al seguito.

  Accommodation

  We have two mobilhouses available inside the refuge with double bed, kitchenette, living room, bathroom with shower and garden. We are unable to provide food.
  
  Abbiamo due mobilhouse a disposizione all’interno del rifugio con letto matrimoniale, angolo cottura, soggiorno, bagno con doccia e giardino.
  Non siamo in grado di fornire il vitto.
