    Description

We are a small family and live on a beautiful acreage about 15 km from Nelson, BC. We would love to play board games (if you like) and make tasty meals together! We eat meat but our son is vegetarian, so happy to accommodate vegetarians and meat-eaters alike! We love our acreage and large garden, but it can sometimes get overwhelming! We'd love some help with gardening, firewood, wood chipping, carpentry work, cooking, childcare, animal care and/or cleaning.

We live near Nelson, BC, which has a unique Kootenay culture. We also live rurally on a beautiful forested 4 acres. There are plenty of opportunities to hike, a disc golf course just down the road, and Taghum beach is a 10 minute drive away.

    Help

We live on 4 acres and have a large garden. If you like gardening, we'd love some help, for example spreading wood chips and manure, weeding, or harvesting. We could also really use some help with building projects, such as repairing the garden fence or greenhouse. We generally need more help in May through October, although may have work for someone skilled in carpentry in the winter.
