If you like cooking, baking, gardening, participating in home improvement projects... and living with an Irish family: you have come to the right place! We would like your help with daily tasks around the house and garden.
Our home is located on a dairy farm with 120 milking cows. During the day you can enjoy a walk in the fields or spend some time with the animals. You are very welcome to observe what we do on our farm. If you have any questions, ask away!
We are located close to popular tourist spots in Ireland like Cork city, Cobh, Kinsale and many beaches and cliffs. You can enjoy wonderful views from our property of the green hills and the harbour in the distance.

Help around the house
At our farm, you can learn about Irish dairy farming as we are very passionate about it and love to show you/tell you how things work.
I enjoy hearing about your culture and will happily tell you about local history and Irish culture. I can recommend multiple places to visit around our home. I can take you to Cork city or nearby places to spend the evening in an Irish pub and enjoy an Irish music session.
Volunteers would help with daily tasks around the house, such as tidying and preparing the evening meals that we will share together. If you like baking or cooking, knock yourself out, we love food! My father, who is 101 and healthy, lives in our home as well and needs to be brought his daily cups of tea, but he will gladly tell you his old tales in return!
Daily tasks outside the household vary every day. You can help us with garden work or house renovation projects (there is always something to be done). If you have any ideas to help us improve our home, we welcome initiative.
You will be accommodated in a room in the house (alone or shared with another workawayer). All meals are provided. Breakfast and dinner are shared together. You can help yourself to food whenever you like.
The farm is 10km from Cork city center, which can be reached by bus. I can give you tips on where to go in the city.
If you want to discover more of Ireland from here, you can easily take busses or trains from Cork city to Kinsale, Dublin, Galway, Killarney national park and many more. You can also take shorter bus/train trips to Cobh, Midleton (Jameson distillery), Fota Wildlife Park… I can help you get on your way.
