Welcome home,
Would you like to learn Jiu-Jitsu? Our son is desperately looking for a partner to practice his passion: Jiu-Jitsu.
We are a couple whose life changed dramatically 9 years ago when our son was hit by a car while riding his bicycle.
He went from a very independent state ( mechanical engineer) to a dependent wheelchair user.
We now live in a condo in St-Lambert, south shore of Montreal with, pool and gym closer to BJJ(Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) clubs for our son. We need your help for the household and a companion for our son Alexandre.
He is an exceptional young man (now 32 years old) who fights every day to improve his condition.
Despite some obsessions (German & jiu-jitsu), he has all his mind, but he is caught in this body which responds poorly to his requests, with a lack of balance and coordination and uncontrollable tremors because of the Traumatic Brain Injury.
As he showers and dresses himself you don’t need to help him with that neither do you for eating.
We have no dietary restrictions and eat every meal together, chatting, discussing and laughing.
By being part of our family, you could improve your English, French and even Spanish or German with him, with us.
Visit around in Quebec with him and accompany him to different activities with a car that we provide: restaurants, pubs, visits in Montreal, Québec etc. You will be immersed in our way of living.
Of course, you must have a driver’s license, an international one is the best.
If you speak German it's a big PLUS.
Your help is essential to us to keep our son home, he gets desperate once in a while mainly if he doesn’t do Jiu Jitsu… Please help us to help him.

We would like you to accompany Alexander in the tasks of everyday life and give us a hand in the daily tasks in St-Lambert. Alexandre circulates in a wheelchair but can also walk with a walker under supervision because he often looses his balance (cerebellum sequel therefore lack of balance)

Notre fils apprend l'allemand et le parle déjà bien, il parle aussi espagnol, anglais et français sa langue maternelle. J'ai enseigné le français langue seconde pendant 25 ans aux adultes et enfants.

John-Luie is a real jokester and Mireille is a well organized and open minded women true to her heart.
It was fun being able to speak german with Alex and learn about Jiu-jitsu from him. Molli is a calm and trusting Dog, Alex and her are very cute together.
