Description
Hello!! We are Juanita, Mauricio and Leandro!
Between us 3 we have bought a small plot of land in a rural area of the municipality of Pijao in Quindío.
The site is located in the mountains of the coffee region, surrounded by a very beautiful natural environment and with a great view of the landscape. Our idea is to be able to develop a tourist project with lodging service in the short term. For now, none of the 3 can live there and that is why we are looking for someone with the time and willingness to collaborate to attend to the needs of the land while we can officially start our project.

Types of help and learning opportunities

At the beginning we will be attentive to receive travelers and give them all the indications they need and show them the place. Travelers will have the opportunity to be alone most of the time, living with the community of the rural area of Pijao. The place is surrounded by a spectacular landscape that is worth knowing, a natural environment with forests, rivers and very beautiful trails that can even lead you to Genova or Buenavista, both municipalities of the Quindio mountain range, as well as PIjao.

We are primarily looking for someone to stay in the cabin. The tasks are few because the project is just starting.
For now, the tasks are sporadic, such as planting trees, removing weeds, helping to build the access road, among others.
The travelers will be almost all the time alone in the house since we do not live there although we try to go on weekends; These days, travelers can go on trips and we will take care of the cabin.

Languages spoken

Accommodation
It is a small house of guadua and mat located at 2050 meters above sea level and 5 km from Pijao Quindío
There is no electricity, however there is some light at night thanks to solar panels. There is no water but we collect rainwater and use it to bathe and wash dishes. We carry drinking water from the village for cooking and drinking.
It is a very safe and pleasant community.
The cabin is served by a public jeep route that passes 4 times a day to and from Pijao.
Every 2 weeks we will supply basic groceries and drinking water for travelers to cook their own food.
Travelers will have a bicycle that they can use to go to town or go for a ride.
In the cabin there is a cat, Manolo, he is very friendly.
Travelers can bring their pets.
If it is necessary, there is enough space to leave the motorhome outside the lot, however, it is a very safe area and from the lot you can see the car.
From the car to the house you have to walk approximately 60 meters uphill.

What else ...
